Reason.... A nightmare?

Meanwhile, at the Qin Mansion's study room, the steward, Mr. Samora was sweating profusely. He was called in by the Qin couple, so he prepared his mind on how he is going to answer all their questions. But this time, he missed one thing.

Mr.and Mrs. Qin suddenly asked him about the young miss. Previously, they would only ask about the little miss once in a while, which can still be counted on his fingers.

If they really need a definite answer, they would just ask the miss. And that, can still be counted on the fingers of his right hand. Those are still very far and few from each other, so he never thought that they would ask now.

For the first time, they've broken the pattern!

And, for the first time ever since he started working for the Qins, he had no answer. And that was why he was sweating profusely despite the room being cold.

"Are you sure that she hasn't been bullied or something of that sorts?"

Mr. Alfonso's voice boomed throughout the whole room, which was big enough to be a house for some people.

Mr. Samora's body became stiff, then he bowed his head, "Yes, Sir."

Mrs. Alicia, noticing his body language, suddenly took part in the conversation of the two men, " Really? Then why is she acting differently this time?"

Raphael Samora sighed. He wanted to ask,

"Why do you care? You have never cared before about your daughter, so why bother now?"

But atlas, he can't do that, lest he lose his job.

So he could only answer,

"She's been dizzy the other day, madam, so maybe she's feeling a bit uncomfortable."

Mrs. Qin's face turned dark after hearing this. She furiously slammed the teacup that she was holding and asked, "What?! And you haven't reported it to us?"

"Please forgive this steward's unthoughtfulness, Madam." The steward can only admit defeat.

The moment the Madam shouted at him, the steward, Raphael knew that he had to retreat in order for him to survive.

Madam was always calm even in the midst of anything. Until now, that is. It's the first time that she had lost her composure. Raphael doesn't know the reason why they suddenly care for the young miss. Yes, they still care for her, but they had never reacted like this. At most, they're just going to ask, 'Is your young miss okay?' And that's that.

The couple barely had time to bond with their daughter. It's a good thing that she understands them. She was always jolly and a bit childish when her parents and brother were home. This was the first time ever that she acted like that.

How would he know what's going on in the young miss' mind? She was just fine last night! Her dizziness wasn't there anymore and the Doctor said that she doesn't need further tests and medication anymore. So…..

What happened, then?

Mr. Qin interrupted the stewards' thought as he ordered, "Make sure this won't happen again. Understood?"

"Yes, sir. Understood."

"You can go now. Call Mischel in."

Raphael sighed in relief. He bowed his head towards the couple, then walked out from the study room. He went to find Mischel to tell her the patriarch's order.

"Mischel, go to the study room now." The steward told the young maid as he found her in the kitchen, helping wash the utensils.

" Yes, sir Raphael."

Mischel walked faster than usual, knowing that the boss and madam hates tardiness. Her cheeks were flushed from walking faster that she almost seemed to run. She knocked at the door after five seconds of calming her fast beating heart.

Knock. Knock.

"Come in. "

Mischel entered the study room and politely greeted, "Sir, Madam."

"Tell us what happened these days with your Miss."

Hearing the instruction she contemplated a bit on where to start. Then she stated, " Young Miss has been going on with her usual routines. She didn't miss any of those— from exercising at 5 o'clock in the morning until quarter before six, resting a bit before bathing, then eating breakfast at two quarters after six and going to school at exactly seven. But…."

Five days ago, Alia was doing her morning exercises, when she suddenly felt dizzy. She ignored it at first, but just a minute afterwards, she suddenly fainted.

Mischel, who was about to remind her of the time as per usual, found her lying on the floor. Good thing there was a thick yoga mat beneath her that protected her body from severe injury.

Mischel panicked for a few seconds, then calmed herself soon afterwards. She immediately called another maid through the intercom that was connected in the kitchen. She quickly checked if there's any injury that she hasn't seen on the first check that she had done.

When the other maid arrived, they both carried their miss towards her room. She asked the second maid Maria to call the family doctor immediately and then inform the steward, while she tended to some light wounds that were on Alia's arms.

When the doctor arrived, the steward immediately led her to the young miss' room. Doctor Chen did the check up, and upon seeing that Alia was fine and so far, there were no major problems, she gave them a medicine that will help Alia to lessen the body pain caused by the fall.

" As of now, Miss Alia is fine. Aside from those light wounds on her arms and some bruises that were already given first aid treatment, there seemed to be no problem other than overfatigue. Just make sure that she gets enough rest. And I already had her smell this for her to wake up. She has to eat before drinking that medicine. Then accompany her to have an X-ray and CT scan tests at the hospital. I'll call to notify them of your arrival."

"Thank you Doctor Chen. We'll certainly do that." Steward Samora told the doctor.

" I'll be going now. Call me about the results later."

While Maria accompanied the doctor up to the garage, Mischel tended to Alia as she woke up already. The steward went to the kitchen to let a staff arrange Alia's food.

"After the young miss ate and drink the food and medicine, we went to the hospital with Mr. Raphael. After the tests, we waited for the result, as the young miss rested in a hospital room. According to the test, there weren't any injuries."

Mischel recalled her memory and told them to the husband and wife.

Mrs. Qin's brow furrowed, "Did she act differently after she recovered?"

"No, ma'am. Young miss still acted the same as before, she just lessened her morning exercises routines." The young maid replied.

"But… Why is she quiet earlier?"

Madam Qin murmured, as her facial expression became bothered. Mischel didn't say anything because the madam looked like she was lost in her thoughts as she asked this question. Her furrowed brows even became deeper.

"Okay. That's all. This is the list of numbers that you should call from time to time to report about your young miss especially if something like that happened again. Never forget to call." Mr. Alphonse broke the silence, emphasized the three words should, especially and never as he instructed and handed a paper to Mischel, which she hurriedly accepted.

She'll just borrow a phone from the steward to call these numbers.

"Yes, sir. I understand." The young girl replied then politely bowed and turned around.

As she reached for the door knob, Madam Alicia suddenly called her back, "Wait… Here, take this. Use this to call us. Don't worry about the load, that number is on a monthly plan. We'll pay for it."

Mischel hesitated for a while, but suddenly remembered her young miss' face when she'd fainted, so she got the phone and thanked the couple, before finally going out of the study.

As the young girl left, only silence accompanied the husband and wife, aside from each other. They were both deep in their own thoughts, but you can definitely see with their expressions that their thoughts aren't good.

Well…

Who wouldn't be bothered when you dreamed about a family member dying? Especially…

If you found out that all other family members other than that person had the same dream at the same time as you?

Wouldn't it bother you, too?
