The Fall

My name is Ben I keep getting these weird dreams its been happening for about a year now and I'm terrified they show the world ending and ice and death battle it out for humanity so I got degrees in coding so I can download everything from the internet I need to survive everyone else thought I was crazy and who wouldn't I have no parents or friends I'm an alone orphan I took self defense classes and learned how to survive in the wild got lucky in game stop stocks and bought food and water to last me for about 10 years stored them in a RV I tricked out for space and comfort

then one night I had a different dream one about a place I have to go I just turned 18 left the orphanage and went to the place

it was a hill and as soon as I got there I asked myself why did I come here and then it happened a nuke went off in the distance very far away but I saw it I panicked and wanted to move but I remembered the dream whoever was showing me this I locked my RV down and set up a huge tent

after another nuke went off and another a total of 5 nukes went off and I started crying this was my world it was a shitty world but it had its times I got my gas mask on and started drinking some beer I know I wasn't supposed to have it but I faked my id and got a shit ton I didn't know why until now

for weeks I spent up on the hill weeks turned into months and soon a year passed no one came up here except a group of wolfs that looked hungry and thirsty I shared some of the dog food I bought I wasn't going to eat it and some water they became my companions I names the father of them Fenrir fen for short the mother Cerberus ceb for short and the two cubs were Liam and Rose

since I came to the hill I have gotten this dream about a blue person and a pale girl coming I of course waited what else would I do I cant lead and all the other humans would take all my stuff and I build a nice cabin up here with a fully secure garage and a cellar where I keep my RV and food and water the wolf's sometime bring deer or any animal home

then on my second year on the hill they came a man who had a crown with jewels on it and was really blue with a white beard and and a pale girl about 19 years old (I know in adventure time the girl was much younger but I don't want to completely rip it off even tho this could be counted as a fan fic) when they came the man said "finally another person im Simon and this is Marceline we were hoping for shelter and food for the night" I wanting to sound wise said "I have been expecting you come I I have plenty of food and water the wolfs are friendly when you get to know them" that was my biggest mistake Simon almost killed my right then and there "how did you know we were coming dont lie or I'll freeze you to death" he put on the crown I tried to calm him down said "whoa calm down I have been getting visions for the past 2 years and one said people matching your description would come" he calms down with the help of Marcy he then asked "how you dont seem to have a artifact to show you and you dont have special powers it seems so how" I say "I don't know it just happened I don't know who showed me it but come inside I'll get some drinks and food its almost lunch" as I say that Marcy's stomach growls

I introduce them to the wolfs they seemed to really like Marcy I wonder why and we talk Simon says the next time he puts on the crown he might not be able to take it off

we hang out together for about a month showing them my wide range of songs and movies but then I had another dream one about death taking over the world and only the ice king can stop him I would tell Simon and Marcy who did not like the idea of Simon having to Crown on for that long she begged Simon to stay but he says he needs to go and goes to defeat Lich I found out his name was I like Simon we had become best bros even tho he was like 40 years old

he left and I comforted Marcy who asked me "will you leave me Ben" I said "Not till I die" and some old emotion resurfaced and we cried into each other's arms
