Cold, blasts of cold air seeped through the man's wounds but he kept running. Desperation and terror could be seen in his eyes as he spun his head about wildly, "No no no.. this can't be right." A scream could be heard nearby, the man gasped and started to run faster, he could barely see in front of him with the snow covering his hands.
Stumbling but still desperately running from something the man accumulated more and more wounds from cutting open his hands on the seemingly never-ending snow. Another scream followed by a peal of bellowing laughter was heard. The man started to sweat, despite being surrounded by snow.
Tak
The man tripped on something underneath the snow and fell face-first into the snow, but he heard something that gripped his heart in fear and quickly looked behind himself.
The sound of snow crunching under someone's boots could be heard. The snowstorm cleared around the man and he could make out his pursuer's face. A man in armor made of ice, with empty black sockets where his eyes were supposed to be. The man held a spear dripping with blood.
Behind the man of ice another man appeared, a giant in stature, a red glow seemed to move like liquid from his armor. Letting out booming laughter the giant man moved a giant hammer with one arm and swung it to his right. The sound of metal hitting flesh along with a short scream sounded out.
"T-the d-demon twins..", the man managed to gasp out. "I don't understand why they're running Louis," the giant man said. "Running gives them hope Arthur, that just maybe they could survive," Louis replied while thrusting his spear forward. Taking a badge from the dead man, Louis waved his arm through the air. Like magic, the snowstorm that seemed neverending cleared up.
"We caught the first lieutenant of this platoon," Louis said while looking around. Around him were 28 corpses with the men and women stepping on them looking toward him. "The 2nd platoon has completed their mission, make sure to send the badges to the company," Louis said as he set his hollow eye sockets towards his platoon.
"Yes lieutenant Louis!", the platoon answered.
