Margie's rage

To Margie it seemed unimaginable for a mother to sew her daughter to court although with justifiable reasons. She wondered why Susan keeps persuading her to have children with Charles while she adamantly frustrates her daughter with the unthinkable.

"Molly cannot hurt a fly" she spoke out dourly as she opened the gate wide enough to enable Charles's car pass through.

Margie quickly rushed back to the car with few steps almost running. She entered the car, and dropped her purse on the first passenger's seat. Just then, she realized she didn't collect the car key.

"Mteeeww" she hissed and rushed back to into the house

"Babe is that you? How did it go?" Charles inquired from the bathroom as he scrubbed his neck not minding she came back early.

"Yeah, I came back for the car key" she replied and rushed out again

As she drove, by passing the traffic jams. She still pondered on how to interrogate Susan's action. All she wants to prove is Molly vulnerability to depression in the whole scenario even if she does not prove her innocence beyond all doubts.

At the same time, she wishes she is a lawyer so that she can stand up proudly against Susan and prove her wrong through every means she can.

"Be careful not to be arrested this morning Margie" she advised herself as she recklessly over takes a diesel tanker, almost hitting a bus crossing her lane to the other lane directly opposite Ma Làche eatery.

Susan went home to prepare for work, not long after Molly got to the police station. Coincidentally, she drove into her compound at the same time as Prisca.

"Hey," Prisca greeted as she got down from her car holding her hand bag on her left hand.

"Hey" Susan replied forcing herself to look OK as she closed her car's door.

"How are you this morning" Prisca asked puffing up her cheeks to smile

"I'm better" Susan answered as they walked up the stairs to the entrance door together.

"I heard Molly has been arrested?" Prisca questioned as she opened the door for Susan to enter first.

"Thank you" she appreciated her kind gesture as she entered the house "The police came for her this morning" Susan added turning back to Prisca as she shot the door behind her.

"Cool" Prisca asserted as she dropped her bag on the sofa Susan backed and progressed to the kitchen to make coffee.

Susan gently numbered her footstep to the dinning "What is so cool about my daughter's arrest?" she wondered as she placed her right hand on the dining table.

She quickly kicked Prisca's utterance off her mind when she considered words can possess different meanings sequel to the context they are used in.

She slowly pulled her hair backwards as Margie badged into the house unannounced. Margie's entrance made her turn quickly to see who it is. At the sight of Margie, she wondered why she came in such a manner.

"Good morning" Margie greeted with a malicious face as she walked to her.

"Good morning, how are you Margie" Susan replied trying to ignore her abnormal attitude and terrifying entrance

"I am fine" she answered as she shuffles her car key through both hands

"And Cha…" Susan tried to ask again

"Charles is fine" she interrupted bleakly looking at her callously

"Ok" Susan said as she turned facing the wall directly opposite her. She already figured out what Margie's attitude is all about

"I saw the news headline this morning" Margie said as she drew closer to Susan

"What about it?" Susan asked as she turned her neck to the left directing her face to Molly's. "Everything about it is wrong, Susan" Margie answered almost raising her voice as Prisca came to the dining unnoticed "Molly does not deserve what she is getting from you" she sounds tougher and bitter.

"She killed my son, Margie" Susan replied with anger as Margie replied immediately

"You mean with a gun?" she asked but got no answer. "Your allegation against her is baseless, you are wrong, Susan" she added as Susan smiled and turned away again

"Molly can be awkward at times but can't hurt the tiniest being in existence not to talk of her brother" she concluded sounding emotional

"Robin died out of medical complication that arose during the cloning trial which was unfortunately beyond the medical team to handle, not Molly's fault" She added raging with anger again

"Margie, for the fact that Molly kept everything about the trial away from me makes it her fault" Susan shouted at her

"Did you ask why?" Margie shouted back

"Obviously not, because she knows I wouldn't have permitted it and Robin's death automatically makes her reasons irrelevant" Susan replied quickly in a high tone and sat down on the dining chair folding her arms.

"Interesting" Margie said as she touched her nose with her right hand with which she held the key and turned to notice Prisca's presence. She slowly held up her car key in her palms joined together, staring at it steadily, and said

"This very action makes you putridly horrible and heartless Susan"

"I wonder how you expect me to take your advice to have children with Charles when you can't cherish the lovely bed you have at hand" she added looking up to Susan as Susan stared at her too.

"The least thing Molly expected from this cloning trial was Robin's death. That trial was like her a medium to substantiate her existence. I really wish you can believe that." She said in a low tone and paused for a while.

"Having her jailed and face trial does not bring you an inch to be counted as a mother" she lamented as Susan bowed her head listening calmly to her "I came…" she continued

"Justifying Robin's death makes her more of a mother Margie" Prisca interrupted her instantly "Molly is totally wrong and deserves every bit of what she is getting right now" she concluded stressing the last words of her statement as Susan keeps staring at her strangely.

The mistake Prisca just made this morning, is to chip into Margie's discussion with Susan.

Margie rejoiced for the prey has fallen into the predator's trap

"Tell me more dear" Margie requested smiling as she slowly turned to Prisca ready to pick up any arrow of revolt she vomits and strike it against her.

"Molly should have considered the detrimental consequences of involving Robin in that trial without Susan's consent before she embarked on it, that makes her less of a daughter dear" Prisca replied proudly as she sipped from the cup of coffee she bore in her left hand feeling she has slammed her

Surprisingly, Margie lacked words to use against her because to exchange words and dialogue with her isn't not her prior aim of coming to Susan's house

"You see; I have nothing to say to you Prisca because I can absolutely identify a wolf in the flock when I see one" Margie replied starkly as she drew closer to her

"Not forgetting" she continued moving her right index finger sideways

"You are the most pathetic, selfish, heartless haul I have ever encountered in my life" Margie concluded insolently and turned to Susan

"Watch your words young woman" Prisca warned cruelly

"Who is she?" Margie asked raising her eyebrows and pointing at Prisca simultaneously as she turned but got no reply

"I guess your dear friend" Margie added with enforced smiles, ignoring all Prisca is saying

"Quote me anywhere tomorrow, she will squeeze your head into your doom soonest, Susan" she warned convincingly and left as Prisca glared at her with hate.

Margie's last statement clearly left Susan with too many questionable thoughts about Prisca.
