"Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute experience."
~Paulo Coelho
My head felt foggy, and I couldn't seem to open my eyes. There were distant noises in the background, but I tuned it out, not wanting to hear anything. And that was when I realized exactly what happened.
I was kidnapped by three unknown men, and taken to a place that I don't recognize. To make matters worse, I know that they are in a gang and they want me to meet their boss.
I had to escape before they got me. So, I made a plan. Prying my eyes open, I looked around the room I was put into. I realized that I had been strapped down to the table by my ankles, but my arms were free.
Idiots. They should have tied my wrists if they wanted to keep me hostage. I took in the rest of my surroundings. The room wasn't big, but it wasn't small. There was a closet, some brown furniture, which could have been blue in my opinion, and no door.
How am I supposed to get out? But then a thought hit me. If there was no door, how did they get me in here? There has to be a way out.
I stood up and walked towards the closest wall. Using my skills from movies, I let my hand wander across the walls, feeling for any cracks. I searched every single wall, even though there were only four.
Right when I was about to give up, I felt a slight dent in the wall. Knowing that this wasn't a regular thing that happens to walls, I slowly pushed against it, and the door moved.
Dramatic gasp. I am amazing! Time to celebr- wait no, no celebrating. You can celebrate when you actually get out of here.
I continue to push the "wall" until I can step inside. What's surprising is how clean it is in this tunnel. The walls are painted white, and the floor had carpet on it. It has a freaking carpet! These people...
I shook my head, not wanting to get further distracted. I stupidly followed the route, not knowing where I was going. I continued to walk for a few minutes when I met with a wall. Um, OUCH! I rubbed my sore head and placed my other hand on the wall, feeling for any slight dent. Luckily, I found one.
I pressed against it and felt it being shoved back. I had to block the light out of my eyes. I guess being in the dark for a while really gets to your eyes.
I realized I had to be in some type of living room. There were matching blue and grey furniture with a beautiful chandelier in the middle of the room. I looked around the room and saw a door at the end. My escape! I've been looking for you for so long!
I ran to the door, only to run into a wall that caught me. Wait a second, walls can't catch people...
I looked up and realized that it was the driver who got me here. "Oh, you," I growled. Did... did I actually just... growl?
"How did you get out?" he asked curiously. I crossed my arms over my chest and said, "I'm not telling you." He looked behind me, and I realized that I had left the trap room door open. Crap.
"Well, I know how you got out, and I gotta say, you are one clever girl."
I smirked at him, and he just rolled his eyes at me. "Alright, I have to bring you back to your room." I gasped and placed a hand over my heart.
"How dare you think you can just take me and... oompf-" I stopped talking once driver guy lifted me over his shoulder and carried me back to my room. So inconsiderate. He didn't even ask me if I wanted something to eat or drink. Like, come one! Food is heaven.
With a grunt, I was placed inside my "room." "Stay here, and don't even think about using the trap door," he says and leaves.
This guy- is he stupid? I will obviously use the trap door again. Once I hear his footsteps fade away, I sneak back to the trap door.
