The Son Of Thunder
- Twenty-five trillion years ago.
"The Compass! Father! They have found the compass!!"
Years have passed and the gods are looking for the compass. Days have gone. Years have gone by. New gods and old gods are looking for this... "Compass".
"Modi! Magni! Find me that compass!"
Both "Yes, father."
The two brothers left their father's presence and went straight to their valkyries.
"Father wants the compass, Magni!"
"Indeed! We must get this compass and return it to our father."
Both of the brothers left and went to find the compass. Meanwhile on the throne.
"My love... Why do you seek this compass?"
"This 'compass' that you are telling me... Is a heart."
"A heart?"
"A heart. It's called ' The Molecular Heart'... My father once told me it will grant you power so imaginable... That not even God could face you."
"And didn't your father said that there are two sides of the compass? You know... God. Bad... And it will only grant you what your heart wants? Tell me, my love. What do you want?"
"Not now woman. I need to visit my son."
"Dodging the question as always, Thor."
"Bah! I'll take my leave!"
Thor got up from his throne and went outside and created thunder to teleport to his son.
"Thor... Son of Odin... You just want that heart for no reason. You're going to let everyone die for it... Aren't you?"
Thor. The God Of Thunder. A seven feet tall skinny man. He has scars all over his body and missing his left leg. No eyes and can only hear with his right ear. Mjolnir a lighting hammer that, Thor creates every time he says 'Become Worthy'
The Sons of Thor. Modi The God of Combat and Magni The God of Strenght. Those are the sons of the God of Thunder. But there's one more... A bastard son... Called Birger a simple man that works as a carpenter and lives in the woods in an unnamed location.
Birger only waits for his old age to come and to see if the All-Father grants him a ticket to Valhalla.
Boom!
A lighting strike appeared in the trees and in that lighting strike came Thor and shouted.
"Birger! Come out! Let me see you son!"
Birger was right behind his father cutting trees at night and said.
"Look behind you father."
Thor looks behind and said
"Birger my boy! How's the cutting trees business going?"
Birger stops cutting trees and puts his ax away and said to his father.
"Not good."
"Why's that son?"
"You see... No one wants to have wooden furniture... They found the good iron father and they don't want wood anymore."
"Oh? And why are you cutting trees right now?"
"Because I have nothing else to do. I can't find any job nor anyone wants me."
"...I see."
"Yeah. I see as well."
Birger then continues to cut trees, but Thor said.
"How's your mother?"
Birger then stops cutting trees and said.
"She's dead."
"Impossible. The last time I saw he-"
"The last time you saw her and me was thirty years ago."
"... I'm deeply sorry."
"Sure you are."
Thor then looks around and just by moving the wind, he cuts down all the trees and said.
"My son. I hope that you understand... That I'm doing this because you are my mind. I want my son... This son. To become something greater than all of your ancestors... Including me."
"Then why did you not bless me?"
"Do I need to bless you, to prove that you are nothing but a man? You are the son of Thor. You must become worthy of it."
"Both of your brothers are looking for the compass and-"
"Give me a break... You only came here to help you get the compass?"
Thor chuckles and said.
"Yes and no. I wanted to meet my son and to see if he would like to join me in this adventure."
"Adventure?"
Birger then throws his ax at his father, but Thor just grabs the ax, and Birger said.
"Everyone knows the compass, you obviously think that there's not going to be death around the corner?"
*Sigh* Thor then walks away and said to his son.
"Well, Birger! Where's the fun if every single place will not kill you for a simple compass? Heimdall!"
Birger looks up and saw the wave on top of him and his father.
Both father and son were on the bridge of Asgard. The gate was cover with silver and gold. Birger then saw The White God, The Watchman of The Gods, Heimdall.
Heimdall had white silver and gold armor, his helmet was shining, but you couldn't see his face, but flames were leaving the top of his head.
Birger saw and said.
"Father! Why am I here?!"
Thor and Heimdall laugh and Thor said
"For an adventure my boy!!"
Birger was furious and before he could say anything a hand touches his right shoulder. Birger looks to his right and saw his brother Magni and Magni said.
"Birger! How's life treating you?"
Birger did say a word, but Thor said.
"He's doing amazing, Magni! Let's go!"
Thor then teleports both of the brothers to the armory and said.
"Magni! Give your brother his armor and weapons!"
"Aye!"
Thor then walks away and left the two brothers alone.
"..."
"..."
"Are you ready?"
"No."
"That's the spirit!!"
Magni gave his brother armor and shield.
"No helmet?"
"Who needs a helmet anyway?"
"Me."
"Cry me a river! Here's your weapon!"
Before Magni could give his brother the sword, Birger stops him and said.
"I don't need the sword, just give me an ax."
"Aye."
Magni gave Birger an ax that had flowers and spikes around it.
"This handle has spikes."
"Just take it. We need to go to our brother Modi. I told him I will be back after I pick you up."
"Jesus Christ... Fine! Let's go get this compass!"
The two brothers went outside and hop in the back of a valkyrie and fly away.
Birger then saw the universe and their galaxies and planets.
Birger saw how beautiful is the universe and he couldn't believe it.
The sky was dark, but if you can really see... You can see the stars in the sky smiling at you.
Both brothers then landed in an abandoned castle and Birger said.
"Wait... Where are we?"
"This place? This is the end... This whole place contains universes inside universes that has infinite timelines."
"It has a sun and a moon."
"Yeah, because this whole place it's different."
"So a dimension?"
"No. It's something else. We just don't know what it is."
"Right... This castle is crumbling... I wonder what happened."
"Nobody knows... This place it's older than time itself and the king as well."
"The King?"
"Dragolath and his twelve knights are looking for the compass, but to be fair with you? He's looking for the other compass, we are looking for the other one."
"Aye. Let's get down of this castle."
The two brothers went down to the castle and they saw their brother, Modi.
"Modi!"
"Magni! Birger!"
Modi then run towards his brother and gave them a bear hug and said.
"Good to see you, brothers!"
Birger and Magni said.
"Great... We... are... Glad... To... Hear... That..."
Modi then stop hugging their brothers and said.
"Well... Looks like we have a job to do."
"Of course, Modi. Birger?"
"Yeah... Let's find this compass."
The three brothers went outside of the castle and began to walk in the ruins to crumble.
Homes destroyed, the castle in the ruins of a graveyard, and vultures looking below to feast.
The brothers continue to walk, but Modi said.
"I have a joke."
Magni looks at Birger and said to Modi.
"What's the joke, Modi."
"Knock Knock."
Whispering "Give me a break..."
"Who's there?"
"Voodoo."
"Voodoo who?"
"Voodoo you think you are, asking me so many questions?"
"..."
"..."
"What? It was a good knock knock joke."
"You have the all-father laughing, Modi."
"That joke was so good... That Jesus resurrected in the third day."
"Ha! Good one!"
"Who's Jesus?"
"It was a joke, Modi."
"...Oh...Okay! I have another jok-"
Before Modi could finish his sentence a dragon crash-landed right next to them.
Magni saw the dead dragon and said.
"Everyone move!!"
"The dragon is dead, Magni!"
"Yeah, and something killed it, move!!"
Modi hides behind a wall and he was ready to attack.
Magni and Birger hide inside a crumbling house and Magni was ready to attack.
Birger looks at Magni and said.
Whispering "Magni! What's wrong?!"
Whispering "That dragon is from dragolath! That dragon was supposed to be unkillable!!"
Whispering "What?!?"
Modi looks at his brother and before he could say anything the stomach of the dragon was moving and Modi then saw a knife coming out of the stomach and cutting the beast inside. When the knife disappeared inside the stomach a hand appeared.
Modi saw the hand emerging from the dragon's stomach, quickly running towards his brothers and saying.
"Something is coming out of the dragon's stomach!"
Both "What?"
The hand that was emerging from the beast's stomach, grabs the right-wing and pulls himself up.
Whispering "Magni! Birger! What now?"
Whispering "I got nothing. Birger?"
Whispering "I got nothing as well... Actually, let me take a look."
Birger took a look and said.
"It's a figure in a black and red stripe colors"
Whispering "Can you see anything else?"
Whispering "No. But now the figure is looking at his surroundings. It's probably a scavenger and he just sat there."
Whispering "Great! He's resting! We might leave without attacking it!"
Whispering "It's not a he... It took the hoodie off and it's eating the meat of the dragon."
Whispering "It's a she...?"
Whispering "It's she beautiful?"
Both Birger and Magni look at Modi.
Whispering "What? I like strong women."
Whispering "Modi... This isn't the right time to as-"
Whispering "She got up... She's moving... She's grabbing the dragon's tail and..."
Whispering "And?"
"Did you guys heard anything? She's gone now."
"Wait, Birger? Where's the dragon?"
"She just vanished with the dragon."
"Damn... Well then... Let's go befor-"
Boom!!!
An explosion was heard and Modi looks at the sky and saw the sun getting destroyed.
Everything went dark and the brothers couldn't see a thing and Modi said.
"The sun was destroyed!!"
"Magni!!"
"That was Dragolath!!! He found the compass!!!"
"What's going on?! Modi!! Magni!!"
The true power of the compass... was altering everything with s thought of Dragolath's mind.
The wind was faster than sound, the rain was pure acid and the earthquakes were creating black holes.
The reality was changing everything around the brothers was changing, history and infinite with a thought of a mind.
"Magni! We must hurry!!"
"Aye! Birger! Stay here!!"
The two brothers teleported away and left Birger alone in the dark.
"Magni!! Modi!! Brothers!!! Don't leave me!!"
Birger continues to walk but he couldn't. The wind was too strong. The acid was melting his armor and entering his skin.
"Argh! Father!! Why!? Why did you do this to me?!? Answer me!! I'm not a god! I'm a man! You were never with me you bastard! Why!"
The wind took Birger and slammed him into a clocktower and the clocktower collapsed and Birger was inside of the building while the acid was hitting his skin.
Birger blackout, but he heard a voice calling his name.
"Birger"
"Birger"
"Son of Thor... Wake up!"
Birger wakes up and he was in Asgard.
Birger looks around and he didn't see anything... Except him.
"You... You are..."
"Yes. My grandson."
"Odin!"
The All-Father Odin has come to talk to his grandson and said.
"What are you doing?"
"Father sent me on a suicide mission and I couldn't do anything about it."
"No. What are you doing nothing?"
"I'm not a god... My father didn't bless-"
"What makes you think he need it to bless you, Thor?"
"What?"
"Are you the son of a simple man? Or are you the son of thunder? Thor?"
"Your father knew you will be the next God of thunder, that's why your real name is Thor. You must become worthy of that name... Just like how your father need it to be worthy to lift his hammer."
"..."
"Are you the son of a simple man? Or Are you the son of thunder? Is your name, Birger? Or? Is your name, Thor?"
"Think before you say something... I'll talk to you later my grandson."
*Gasp!*
Thor wakes up in the debris and saw a mini black hole entering his chest. He then realized that was the Molecular Heart. The Heart looks for a worthy user. It looks for a user of a worthy heart.
Thor's armor got melted to his skin, but he could breathe and move, but he was still stuck on the debris.
So he shouted.
"As I was worthy for this heart... I am worthy... To become The God Of Thunder!"
A thunder strike hit the debris. You could see the light everywhere in the place. Because in Darkness.
There is light.
In light.
There is hope.
And in hope.
There's Thor.
The debris that hit Thor's face turns into a mask. The armor was now his skin... And his hammer... it's the thunder.
Thor saw Dragolath fighting his brothers and two more people, so he quickly jumps all the way and with his hammer... He destroyed the tower of The God of the abyss.
Everything was crumbling down and there was lightning and thunder in the darkness.
Modi got out of the debris and said to Magni.
"What's that father?!"
"No. That's our brother... The God of Thunder."
Dragolath got out of the debris and said.
"Who dares to attack me?"
"That would be me"
"Really? Do you wish to die?"
"No. But If I need to kill you for it, so be it."
"That's the spirit... What are you the God of?"
"I'm Thor... The God Of Thunder"
"Well then, Thor! Show me!"
Dragolath created his twelve knights and said.
"Kill this false god!"
But the being with the coat said.
"That's not happening! Come at me!"
"Kill her and the boy I'll deal with this false god!"
Thor created a lightning hurricane and wipes down the twelve knights.
Dragolath rushes towards Thor, but Thor counters Dragolath's sword with his hammer.
Thor quickly grabs Dragolath by the throat and hits him with the hammer causing him to fly away, but Dragolath shattered reality just by recovering. The compass is getting him to a point that it will be impossible to kill him.
Thor then jumps towards Dragolath and struck him with full force, but Dragolath moves his hands and pushes Thor away and puts him in a mirror dimension, but Thor shatters the dimension with his hammer and bull rush Dragolath the other way of the end.
Dragolath grabs Thor by the throat and stabs him in the chest, but Thor returned the favor and took his jaw out with a single blow that created a black hole in another universe.
Both fighters are bleeding, but the two Gods are not backing down.
Thor was going to attack him, but the female being with the coat slammed Dragolath to the ground and said to Thor.
"Hit me!"
Thor then created lightning and hits the female causing her to electrocute herself and Dragolath as well.
"Thor!" Magni shouted and said.
"Help her! Take the compass out of Dragolath!"
"Aye!"
Thor then throws his hammer and then created a sword to stab Dragolath.
The other being grabs the hammer and before they could strike Dragolath down, he screams and rewrite history and created the tower again.
"I refuse to di-"
Before he could finish his sentence something bull rush him and destroyed the tower once again.
"Ma'm! What's going on!"
"That was my sister!"
Dragolath couldn't move and the being on top of him was an angel and the angel said.
"Do you think? No no no. DO YOU FUCKING THINK?! That you can surpass me?!"
"HOW!"
Bang!
"MANY!"
Pow!
"TIMES!"
The angel grabs Dragolath and rips the compass from his heart and throws it away.
"DO I NEED TO TELL YOU THIS?!? DO I LOOK LIKE A JOKE TO YOU??!?"
A child grabs the compass, but he was going to fall into a pit.
"Ma'm! The child!"
"Arthur!!!"
"Thor! The child has the compass!!! Don't let him get away!!"
Thor and the woman quickly rush towards the child, but the angel stops them and slammed both of them into the ground, and grabs the compass and the child and the angel said.
"Fuckers! All of you! This all happened because of a fucking compass!!"
"What's going on!!! Magni!"
"Everything it's erasing!! Just because she's here!!!"
Thor got up and hit the angel with the hammer and the angel said.
"Do I feel damage to you?! I'm fucking GOD!!"
The angel then rips Thor's heart and said.
"What are you the God of?"
Thor was fading away, but he grabs the angel and said.
"I... AM... THE GOD OF THUNDER!!!"
A massive wave of thunder and lightning struck down the angel and with a force like that... Everything was getting restored... Everything.
"Thor! Thor! Brother!!!"
The angel was in shock and looks at the brothers and said.
"You guys are Norse? I don't remember mythology in this story..."
A sentence erase the Norse from history and the angel looks at her sister and said.
"Where's, Arthur?"
"Leave him alone!"
"Or what?"
"He's going to be a good person... I promise."
"Listen here... You're not my sister from the universe I came from... I don't trust you one bit... So give me the child."
"Over my dead body."
"Is that so?"
"STOP!"
The child shouted and said.
"Here's the compass... leave her alone!"
"No..."
"Thanks, kid, and here."
The angel gave the child the heart of the universe.
"Now... He's the king of the universe."
"Wha... What?"
"What? I'm going to give The Molecular Heart to Shi and for the compass, I'll take it back... See you all in the future!"
The angel then left her sister's presence and the years have gone and the story has still yet to be finished.
Everything happened because of a compass, but that story... is yet to be revealed completely.
