A Grand Tragedy

Well you can't really have a story with out some kind of tragedy. right?

I Reached out for the sweet little bundle of joy as i took her in my arms. Holding her as she looked up and smiled at me her green eyes likes emeralds as they bore into mine. Before i blink the skies go dark and lighting falls from the skies. At the end of the halls we all hear footsteps. And the door crashes open. Standing outside is a dark figure. In a deep voice we hear.

"My my isn't she a beauty. She will make a beautiful bride won't she?" he tsked. I looked back at Raighna and Malik and they looked back at me. Raighna was trying to tell me something with her eyes. I nodded back at her anad turned around with Aysha in hand and took off without looking back.

When i finally caught my breath we were on earth. A place i knew she would be safe and couldn't be traced. At least for awhile. Anyway. I found this nice couple who couldn't have kids of their own and left Aysha on there doorsteps as i rang the door bell. Running behind a bush i watch as they open the door to find a beautiful smiling girl reaching out to them with her chubby arms and embraced spinning around happily. Knowing that my job here was done. I turned to take off dreading the return to the haven

When i arrived The dark skies were open and fire was falling from it. By the time i arrived the castle was in ruins as well as the once beautiful land surrounding it. My heart ached for the once beautiful world i grew up in but the worst part of all was Raighna and Malik where imprisoned by the dark lord draven as he called himself. The story went he loved Raighna before she was married to Malik but Raighna rejected him angering him. He vowed revenge. This was only the beginning. Wars have been waged for many years since. The only thing that could end the wars and save the lands was The one person that wasn't there anymore.
