Run and escape only to be beaten another day or plead for mercy making promises to forever be his slave and still get beaten up. Yeah I'm taking the first option.

I quickly jump on my feet hoping to make a beeline for the janitor's closet, when I'm suddenly yanked back by my hair - ouch! this mop of brown hasn't seen a saloon in months. Mind being gentle?

Miguel stops the training section after two hours. Normally he would have kept us going until we were practically crawling on our knees, but I guess he's tired and mostly hesitant to stress me.

Thankfully, he didn't call off tomorrow's training. We have shooting lessons. Sometimes I still miss but overall I'm trying and I will get better.

We go back into the house and freshen up. Esperanza doesn't prepare dinner this time, one of the ladies who live here does that and the food is pretty good.

Most people would find it weird  that Esperanza cooks here like she's getting paid but I don't. I once asked that very question when we came here and she said she loves to cook. It calms her and helps her think at the same time.
