Betrayal is a wound that every man has felt, I wrote this story to show how it can make a man strong. 

"What is the difference between a hero, a villain and a coward?

A hero uses his sword to protect people

In 17th century France, the rich nobles control the world with a magic system called "Artifacts". Prince an innocent hearted prince of the Bourbon Kingdom, one day has his life thrown into chaos by betrayal, and inherits an "Artifact" that is the ancient spirit of "The Dark King". Through misfortune after misfortune, Prince eventually loses everything and starts his life over without a royal name. Prince vows to make his way back to the top hiding amongst the everyday people of France.

Prince is a Japanese style light novel based on Machiavelli’s classic "The Prince". Although this work takes influence from it, the story, quotes, and characters are all completely original. It is mostly the concept of good and evil that is borrowed from Machiavelli.

The Kind Prince Who Became An Evil Lord of Darkness

Prince and the others arrived outside of the Shuri looking onwards at the giant two doors. Duke gave an apprehensive look at Prince as they entered the cities walls

"Are you sure this is going to work" Duke asked Prince

"Without a doubt, in fact I'm willing to bet his life on it," Prince said, turning to Tekashi.

Wearing a mask that resembled the Shinobi and a black hood that drooped over his faceTekashi's face and body was fully covered from head to toe.  He had the appearance of a grim reaper,  it truly was as if Prince was leading everyone to their deaths.

"Can you bet your own life for a change!  I'm no cat! I only have one life"  the captain bickered.

"You may not be a cat but by the way you flee

you are  most certainly a p****"  Rhyme laughed

As the group of Travelers walked into the throne room,  they were greeted with the skeptical eyes of the king and his advisors once again.
