The rich and the powerful gather together at large balls, extravagant events where merriment, food, liquor, and all sorts of lavish luxuries are present. During these periods, there is an interchanging of ideas, an interchanging of gifts, in which the people who surround themselves at these occasions look to one another as friends and enjoy their merriment together.

However, it is important that when attending such events, one does not let their guard down.

Initially, one might think the most dangerous place for a royal to be is on the battlefield. Men charging at them with swords, arrows hailing from the skies, and nothing but the sound of beating drums and the cries of dying men to set the rhythm and pace of their desperation as they cling to their lives.
