Team RAYS was an extremely strong team. They were rumored to be as strong as Team STRQ when they were at Beacon. 

One day on a mission that was assigned to them by Professor Ozpin. They were surrounded by Grimm on the edge of Argus. The Grimm’s target was Ray Adler, the lead of team RAYS, and a silver eyed warrior. Yes, Ray knew who she was and what she was. The Grimm slaughtered her teammates, they had managed to push her into the ocean before she got killed. But it cost them their lives.

Now Ozpin needs her help again after a year of training and mourning. Ozpin asks her to watch over a fellow silver eyed warrior. What will she do now? After all her teammates are gone and she has nothing left.

(I won’t do any full relationships because I feel it gets I the way of the story. But don’t worry! There will be at least some fluff!!)

Team RAYS (RWBY fanfic, DROPPED)

"Run, Ray!!!" A blonde girl yelled at the silver eyed girl. She had a shield up protecting them.


They stood surrounded by Grimm on a cliff next to the ocean in Argus. A blue haired girl was stomped on by a Grimm. Another girl was being clawed at by Grimm.


"But-" the silver eyed girl, Ray, tried to say, tears poured out of her eyes.


"They're after you Ray! I'm not gonna be able to hold this any longer!!" The blonde girl interrupted Ray. 


"I can't just leave you, Audrey!!" Ray shouted. The girl named Audrey frowned.


"I'm sorry, Ray. I love you." Audrey smiled pushing the stunned girl off the cliff.


"AUDREY!!!!" Ray yelled, her tears pouring out of her eyes. Audrey smiled at Ray as her shield broke. The Grimm slashed at Audrey, killing her.


Ray's body hit the ocean, knocking her out.


"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, OZPIN!!" Ray yelled at the older man, Ozpin. 


"If you hadn't sent us on that mission they wouldn't have died! Audrey, Yas, Sky!! All of them!" Tears poured out from her eyes, her silver eyes glared at Ozpin.


Ozpin had his head low. "I'm so sorry Ray..."


A blonde woman with glasses, Glynda, put her hand on Ray's shoulder. Ray's eyes glared at her. 


"Take your time to cool down. You have until the next school year." Glynda looked at Ray with pity.


Ray clicked her tongue and stomped towards the elevator. She glanced back at Ozpin. "I won't forgive you Ozpin." The door closed behind her, silence filled the room.


Ozpin folded his hand together. "What am I going to do now?" Ozpin mumbled.


Ray stomped out of the elevator. Team CFVY was coming back from their mission.


"Ray?" A brown haired Faunus asked the leader of Team RAYS.


"Where's your team?" Coco the leader of team CFVY raised an eyebrow.


Ray gritted her teeth. "Why don't you ask Professor Ozpin? You're gonna se him anyways." She spat before harshly turning stomping away.


Team CFVY looked at each other and raised their eyebrows.


Ray stood on the roof looking at the sky. God, it reminded her of the cheery Sky. Sky Starlight her teammate, friend, and comrade.


Ray crumbled to the floor. "I'm so sorry..."
