Team RAYS was an extremely strong team. They were rumored to be as strong as Team STRQ when they were at Beacon. 

One day on a mission that was assigned to them by Professor Ozpin. They were surrounded by Grimm on the edge of Argus. The Grimm’s target was Ray Adler, the lead of team RAYS, and a silver eyed warrior. Yes, Ray knew who she was and what she was. The Grimm slaughtered her teammates, they had managed to push her into the ocean before she got killed. But it cost them their lives.

Now Ozpin needs her help again after a year of training and mourning. Ozpin asks her to watch over a fellow silver eyed warrior. What will she do now? After all her teammates are gone and she has nothing left.

(I won’t do any full relationships because I feel it gets I the way of the story. But don’t worry! There will be at least some fluff!!)

Team RAYS (RWBY fanfic, DROPPED)

A silver haired girl walked down the halls of Beacon Academy. She wore lose pants and the white dress shirt along with the a red tie. It's was clear she was a tomboy.


After about a year I'm finally returning to Beacon Academy to continue my 3rd year. I have somewhat calmed down, but I had come back a completely different person.


During my time of calming down, I have been training. An old woman who knew of the Silver eyed warriors and was one, helped me train. I could control my eyes better now.


I walked down the halls I was heading to the office when I heard a familiar voice coming from the cafeteria.


I stopped at the cafeteria door. What I saw infuriated me.


A blonde haired boy was pulling at Velvets bunny ears while laughing. In a flash a gripped the boys wrist. He yelled and looked at me.


"Look kid, I don't know who you are. But I don't want to be dealing with this right now. I just got back." I smiled 'sweetly' at him. 


"Cardin, Cardin Winchester." He replied, his eyes full of terror.


"Well than Cardin, I'm Ray Adler." He grabbed his face and smashed it onto the table. The table had a dent in it. "Don't mess with my friends." I whispered in his ear.


"What in the world is going on here?" Glynda entered the cafeteria. Her eyes locked onto mine. "Ray..." Her eyes widened.


"I'm back." I looked at Glynda joking slightly.


"Pls come with me Ray." Glynda turned around.


"See you around Velvet." I patted her lightly on the head before walking after Glynda.


I heard people talking about me as I exited the cafeteria. 


"Did you see her Yang!? She was so cool!!!" An excited voice exclaimed.


"Yeah, Ruby. I saw her." Another voice replied.


I chuckled at the kids excitement it reminded me of my days with Team RAYS. I smiled sadly.


"It's good to have you back, Ray." Glynda smiled at me. I looked at Glynda and huffed.


"What's wrong Weiss?" Ruby asked the heiress.


"Could that have been Ray, the leader of team RAYS?" Weiss said mostly to herself.


"Team RAYS was said to be as strong as team STRQ." Weiss explained. 


"Team RAYS was sent on a mission that cost them their lives." Coco interrupted their conversation.


"Wait cost them their lives, but the leader..." Yang trailed off.


"I'm Coco, the leader of team CFVY, and the strongest 2nd year team." Coco introduced herself. 


"What do you mean that it cost them their lives?" Yang asked Coco.


"Well Yang..." Coco paused. "They died to put it simply. The only person who survived was Ray."


"Ray" Ozpin addressed the silver eyed girl.


"Ozpin." Ray glared at Ozpin. The air was tense.


"I'm great." Ray sarcastically responded. "I trained my eyes mostly." 


"Will you do me a favor, Ray?" Ozpin softly said.


"...fine, what do you need?" Ray sighed.


"I need you to keep an eye on someone for me." Ray raised an eyebrow. "Ruby Rose, leader of Team RWBY and a silver eyed warrior."


Ray eyes widened slightly. "Does she know?" Ozpin shook his head.


"Fine, but remember I won't forgive you."
