Chapter 61

He leaned in, his face inches away from her.

She turned sharply to him, startled at his sudden appearance.

Azure clenched his teeth but just stared at her in detached amusement, he couldn't let his unease show because just then he was sure she was going to carve a hole through his chest just then with black fire or even worse punch his face.

 She didn't do any of that though, her face in a perpetual look of a deer in headlights.

They stayed that way for a while, barely breathing. Heated blue eyes clashing with red.

Vinyl frowned mentally, why couldn't she look away, she hated the whiny bastard but then again she had never been this close to him and he'd been here for nearly two months.

 She had to admit, he was still as upsettingly handsome up close as when he was a distance away. She had hoped that being close enough to him would take away the novelty of his features - apparently not.
