"I don't mind." Her voice trailed a whispery path. 

"Alright then, I guess I'll keep the pretty lady company." I said while I sat on one of the couches. 

"So what would you like to have?" She asked. 

I glanced at her and then at the TV. 

"Honestly, I'm famished!" I chuckled. "I think I'll order pizza." I mentioned while I slipped out my phone but she wriggled her head.

"Rather than pizza, I could just make you something." She said with a faint hint of excitement blooming in her voice.

"I think that'll be better. What are you making?" 

"Spaghetti?" 

"Works for me, so how about we make it together?" 

"Uh huh, I don't think that's a good idea." She laughed. "As much as I'd love to, I can't risk you burning the kitchen." 

"Oh come on…" I whined. "Then teach me."
