chapter 15

I wake up to a new day with the sun trying to bore a into my eyes. Getting out of bed, I tear a hole in the air leading to a lake. Stepping a take a running leap and dive into the lake, mostly to actually be able to clean myself of any blood that dried on me. After I stayed for a few hours and picked up and treasure I found underwater, mostly gold for some reason, I return back to the city.

Passing by the building that Zero owns and dicide to just remove him since it already going to happen soon. Walking over to the gate and grab it giving a light tug testing it, nodding I slide my foot back a bit and yank the gate off the hinge and drop it to the side. The clatter drawing the attention of the guest eating on the second floor and also the people working with Zero who are lined up like they already expected someone. 'Is tonight the night that they kidnapped Tuare, the girl that Sebas saved and took in?'

As I reach the building there is four people waiting but as I walk up they looked shocked, probably expected that the person who came was Sebas the old butler.

"What did you think, I would miss out on the party and leave it to an old butler?" I ask the four in front of me.

I just finished punching the fourth making him fly and hit a wall. As I'm about to head inside the find Zero, Sebas comes walking up the path from the gate and stops when he sees me.

"Hey you're the butler from a few days ago right? Oh and don't mind me I just saw them carrying in a girl earlier so I dicided to get her out since she was tied up and unconscious when ariving." I said to Sebas as he starts to get mad as he hear how she was treated. Then looks at me and says "I'll go get her, you can deal with Zero." Before walking inside without waiting for a response.

I didn't even try to argue since I didn't really care, and since Tuare knows him. I then head off to find Zero, who is down is the basement where the the fake Tuare is and was waiting to fight the people coming to save her. Ariving in the basement I see Zero walking down a corridor with him facing away from me.

"So you're the infamous 'Zero' I've heard about. Well I haven't heard about you but I have done some research. Since you four comrades are dead let tussle for a bit, shall we?" I suddenly say, which causes him to spin around expecting to immediately take an attack. But nonthing comes, much and he looks up at me and gets into a stance.

"So you say you killed my 'friends' huh? well then you must be strong but I still doubt you alone could kill them without any injuries yourself." Zero says as he activates six tattoos that boosts his power. He pulls back his fist and I can see six different colors gathering together and then he punches out.

I raise an arm just in case and block his punch with me palm. Though the power behind it make me slide back a few feet, before I coated my fingers in a condensed ash in the form of a spiked brassknuckles then look back at Zero, who is currently dumbfounded I was able to take his attack but not by alot since he just assumed that my 'armor' protected me.

"My turn" I say and full force punch him in the chest, launching him across the hall and through a metal gate for one of the cells down here, not breathing anymore. Making sure he won't get back up i then head outside of the building.

Ainz, aka Momon is currently 'fighting' with Demierge his subordinate, who is currently playing the part of a high level demon who is looking for a specific item. Finally while being driven off Demierge states he will trap a portion of the city in hellfire, before flying into the sky.

After making sure they area is secure momon and the surviving girl of the group of three wrapped up the two bodies and talked about resurrection magic for a bit before spotting the Flames Demierge mentioned, and decided that they should head back, when suddenly.

"Yo that was a cool fight I must say Momon, I didn't want to interfere in such an honorable fight one on one. Otherwise I definitely would have taken a shot at him." They suddenly hear a deep and almost booming voice. After a moment they finally see a hulking nine foot tall man in a full suit of armor that would look very intimidating if they were normal adventurers, and one of them has already met this person before a few times.

"Hello again Rex, if I may ask why are you here?" Momon askes slightly wondering if I have a connection with the group they just took out.

"You know this man sir Momon?" The short girl with a mask, called Evileye asked.

"Yes we've done a few quests together and he helped with the necromancer a while back and also has a few big achievements by himself as well. Like saving one hundred womenand children that were kidnapped and were being taken to he slain theocracy going to be slaves. And also dealt with another necromancer, though a smaller group than the first. And the first ever Solo Adamantite rank adventurer, albeit the newest as well."

Evileye just turned and stared at me without saying anything. "Uhh, hello? should we hurry and deal with that?" I say while pointing towards the giant wall of hellfire in the city. They all agree and we head to the palace where everyone will be gathered to plan for the next thing to do due to the fire.

After and hour or so we all head through the ring of fire as it was discovered that the flame does not burn you and you can step right through. On the other side there and a numerous amount of demons around. The normal soldiers can barely keep back the demons, when Momon, Nabe, Evileye, and I arive wiping the surrounding demons before the former three leave to attack jaldabaoth, aka Demierge, while I stay back to help with the giant demon that just appeared.

As soon as I saw it appear I quickly grab my gun on my back to blast a wing off. As the bullet hit its wing it doesn't completely blow it off but does just enough damage to be unable to fly and dropping to the ground. "I'll attack from farther range as cover fire" I say to the high level adventurers nearby who are about to attack it.

I continue to shoot at the weak spots of the demon as the others attack its waist down to bring the giant to his knees and deep a fatal blow. One of my shots manage to destroy its spine, successfully bringing it to the ground. Shortly after being put down by the adventurers, and about the same time we hear a massive blast and the sound of a building coming down.

I make my way over and see Momon And Jaldabaoth battling it out and the later is about the grab Momon's sword and melt it with his fire. Know it won't do much to him I aim and shoot jaldabaoth's hand, which most of the damage is negated but the bullet still goes through the magic shield and almost blows off his hand causing him to be yanked to the side by the force of the impact.

Everyone stops what their doing for a moment and looks at me. "Umm. Did I do something wrong? I just stopped him from touching Momon with that purplish black flame which seemed deadly." I ask

Jaldabaoth just looks at me for a moment before calling it a day and 'retreating' due to "Knowing he is outmatched should we all three fight". Shortly after everyone that was attacking the demons arrived surrounding the open area that was just a battleground a moment ago.

"YEEEAAAAAHHHH!!!" Momon then declares our victory with a sword held high.
