In one of the largest buildings in the city, a man dressed in an expensive suit was analyzing a pile of documents alone in his huge office, he was making a series of annotations on a pad of paper beside him, even with a computer in front of him he still preferred to use the paper, his cell phone on the table lit up and he stopped all work and took it, a message had arrived.
- 10 am, usual place, for the glory of the new world. -
The man suddenly stood up as soon as he read the message, he left the office.
"Is there a problem, Mr. Corvin?" his secretary asked, surprised.
"Matilda, take the rest of the day, I have a personal emergency to resolve and I will be leaving now." The man answered, he went back to his office and got into his personal elevator, hitting the garage floor.
While the machine was doing its job the man looked at his own image reflected in the mirror, he saw a middle-aged man with blond hair and a square face, with an erect and well-trained body, not inferior to someone half his age. His gray eyes looked cruel and soulless, he straightened his red tie and waited for the elevator to reach its destination.
In the garage, he got into a black rolls-royce and left the building, he drove for about five minutes, arriving at the most expensive restaurant in town, he left the car in the valet's hands and got in, at the same moment the Hostess recognized him. .
"Mr. Corvin! How are you today?" The girl greeted him with a smile. "Your companions are waiting in the VIP room!" She made a gesture with her hands and a girl came over to accompany him.
Alexander Corvin accompanied the attendant to the second floor of the restaurant, where he entered an extremely well-furnished room, where five other people were around a square table.
"Brother Corvin! It's good to have you with us! You are early!" The woman at the head of the table greeted him, she was much older than Corvin, her body was small and bony, as if she were in a process of mummification in life. She raised a bony hand to Corvim, her nails were long and black in color.
"Great mother Serwyna!" Corvin kissed her hand. "Beautiful as always!"
"How charming you are!" The woman laughed. "Sit next to me, dear!"
Corvin obeyed and sat in an empty chair on the woman's right, he greeted the others at the table with a nod.
"Now only father Lucius is missing!" The woman commented with a smile.
"You don't have to wait for me anymore!" the doors were opened by an attendant, an elderly, curved man entered the door, his head was free of all hair, he covered it with a gray beret that he removed when entering the room, his face had a big white beard and was full of wrinkles, his eyes were so closed that he look like being always asleep, he was dressed differently from the environment, a simple white shirt and a brown trousers, held by a pair of suspenders, in his hands he supported himself with a simple wood cane. "Thank you my dear!" He thanked the girl, putting a lot of bills in her pocket, the attendant bowed and left.
Everyone at the table rose as a sign of respect, they bowed and greeted the old man.
"The family greets our Father!" they greeted in sync.
"Children, please sit!" The old man smiled, he himself sat at the other end of the table, parallel to the mother Serwyna, everyone else sat down after. "Garcia, I believe it was you who requested the emergency meeting, please enlighten us with your reasons."
A woman dressed in a bright pink dress stood up, she had a white fur stole around her shoulders, she must have been in her late twenty's, she had a beautiful, curvy body, her face was covered with makeup that accentuated her beauty, her hair was silver and fell over the right side of her face, the left side was shaved and was black in color.
"My brothers, unfortunately I come to inform you that Bureal is aware of our activities in this city, and they have support from the Church." She straightened, her voice beautiful and melodic. "With the witches and our mysterious enemy, I fear that our projects in this city are doomed!" She grabbed one of the snacks from the table and dropped into her own chair, eating it in an exaggeratedly sensual way.
"We cannot leave this city..." A man dressed in a red priestly robe replied. "The promise child said that this place is extremely important to our goal!"
"Your promise child has been wrong before!" a short woman with a round body cut the man in the red priestly cloak. "We are overexposed here!"
"This is no time to argue, my children!" Lucius cut the debate short by tapping his cane on the floor and silencing everyone. "We cannot leave this city, we have already invested too much here to give up now! Matias, get in touch with the night one's, tell them that the hunting ban has been lifted!
They must keep the Church and Bureal busy! Evelynn Do you think the witches will interfere?"
Evelynn Serwyna, the skeletal old woman, replied. "No, I don't think, Angèle wouldn't risk it for his protégés on the front line! And with the involvement of the Church, I very much doubt that she will even offer support from the backstage!"
"That's a good thing, Angèle is a powerful witch, powerful as much as you are!" Lucius sighed in relief. "What about our mysterious enemy? Any idea who he is? "
"No sir" A short, weasel-looking man replied. "We were unable to find out who or what he is... he seems to have a special ability to escape research magic and other tracking methods!"
"This is bad..." Corvin replied. "This is a dangerous variable to have loose around..."
"It doesn't matter," the fat woman replied. "With the night ones on the loose we can create an expanded information network, it will be a matter of time before we find our mysterious enemy."
"I will leave this in your hands, Evelynn!" Lucius stood up. "For the glory of the new world!"
"For the glory of the new world!" Everyone shouted together.

Locke flew across the sky carrying Hanna in his arms, both were disguised by Locke's camouflage magic, Tia was flying on their side.
"We're coming," Tia commented. "Dude, how many memories!"
Locke didn't respond to the fairy's comment, he was still worried, coming here made him remember when he was weak and helpless, and this made he alert.
Locke wanted to come here in his dragon form, but Hanna convinced him to give up on that idea, she said that going in that form could be intimidating and they didn't want to start a fight for no reason.
Soon Locke found himself flying over that tree-lined road, he went down some distance from the mansion in the woods, near the entrance to the small rift full of zombies, Locke watched the entrance, it was so visible to him now, it seemed like a joke to get lost here in that fateful day.
Locke analyzed the formation that surrounded the entrance of the rift, it was in the trees, somehow Locke had entered in the middle of the trees that night, it had been the last attempt of his old curse to kill him and he would probably die if he hadn't crossed his limits on his own, But today was no day for nostalgia, he was analyzing something else, Locke observed carefully, he had recognized a certain pattern in the magical formation of the school and in his house, as if they were made by the same person.
"What are you doing?" Hanna asked curiously.
"He is analyzing the formation, he wants to know If witches are involved or not!" Tia answered for Locke.
"The pattern doesn't match, the mana is different too, it doesn't clear them but it's a start!" Locke commented. "The person responsible for the curse at home and the trap in the school had a different mana pattern, but he or she may still be one of the witches, let's go to the mansion!"
Locke picked Hanna up and ran, he arrived at the mansion in just under two minutes.
"True time! It's kicking asses or making friends!!" Tia joked.
"I got it!" Hanna went to the stone gate and pressed the intercom, after a few seconds an unknown, female voice answered.
"Who is it?" the voice seemed surprised.
"Hi, I'm Hanna, I'm a friend of Wolde, I'd like to talk to her!"
"... Wait a minute!" the voice answered.
After a few seconds of silence, another voice came out of the intercom.
"Hanna? It's really you?" Wolde's voice came out of the machine.
"Hi Wolde! It's me! I need to talk to you!"
"Oh! Ok! I'm going to open the gate!" Wolde looked excited.
As soon as the gate opened Locke and Hanna entered the mansion's backyard, walking together to the door, Wolde opened the door with a smile but froze when she saw Locke.
"Errr, hi? Who are you?"
"Wolde, this is Locke, my boyfriend, he is actually the one who needs to talk to you.
Locke watched Wolde intently, the first time he had gone to the mansion he had found the girl beautiful as a supermodel, she was still beautiful of course, but her appearance did not seem to have the previous appeal, in fact she was still far from Hanna's level , Locke finally understood what Tia meant when she said that the girl was covered with glamor magic, his eyes shone with gold and he can see the true look of the girl.
Wolde was still pretty, but her face was a little different than before, it was like seeing a girl without makeup, the biggest difference was her breasts, the glamor made her have huge breasts, but in fact the girl was a straight like a plank.
Locke's golden eyes did not go unnoticed and Wolde took a startled step back.
"You! What did you do?" She screamed. "I felt a strange energy in your eyes!"
Wolde tried to grab Hanna's arm and pull her away from Locke, but Locke realized her intention and took Hanna out of her range.
"Hanna! Get away from him! He's dangerous!" Wolde was concerned, she raised a hand in front of the body in a fighting position. "Stay away from her!"
Locke was not angry, he would have been if she had tried to attack Hanna, but when he realized that Wolde wanted to protect her he decided the witches didn't look so bad.
"Calm down Wolde! Locke didn't do anything!" Hanna tried to appease the situation.
"He's not human, Hanna!" Wolde shouted, "I know it's hard to believe me but I'm being serious! No human can moves that fast! What the hell are you? A vampire? A werewolf?"
Hanna was ready to explain when a fire arrow flew towards Locke from his blind spot.
Another girl was at the window with both hands pointed at Locke, apparently she had witnessed the whole situation and decided to attack first.
Her presence, however, had not gone unnoticed by Locke, he even felt all the process she used to build the spell, he watched the fire arrow with curiosity, but decided to block it so as not to endanger Hanna.
A black shield formed in the air in the path of the arrow, destroying it completely. Wolde and the girl at the window were surprised by the magic.
"Alse! Call all the sisters! Go get the master! " Wolde shouted, the girl at the window ran out. "Hanna, don't be afraid! I know it is difficult to understand but I am on your side! We will protect you!"
Wolde raised her hands and began to sing in a strange language, the ground began to shake and roots began to sprout around Locke, trying to entrap him, shadows rose around Locke and easily cut the roots, he didn't even have to move an inch.
"I don't want to fight," Locke said. "I am not your enemy"
"If it's not our enemy, let Hanna come this side!" Wolde demanded.
"No! The safest place for her is beside me!" Locke grabbed Hanna around the waist.
"Wolde, you have to stop! Locke is not bad! I love him!" Hanna screamed.
A lot of other girls came out of the house, all standing next to Wolde in battle poses.
"Hanna, you don't understand! He's not human!" Wolde shouted, all the other girls started to sing their own spells.
"I KNOW HE IS NOT HUMAN! AND I ALSO KNOW YOU ARE WITCHES!" Hanna screamed. "NOW STOP ACTING STUPIDLY AND LISTEN TO WHAT WE HAVE TO SAY!"
Hanna's scream left the girls confused, usually an ordinary person did not accept the existence of the supernatural, many used to be confused and crazy during the first contact with something that defied common sense.
"This is my boyfriend, and if you don't stop threatening him, I'll beat you up myself!" Hanna stated vehemently.
One by one the girls began to cancel their own magic, all watching Hanna in confusion, especially Wolde.
"How…how do you know we are witches?" Wolde asked.
"I told her!" Tia revealed herself, surprising the witches.
"A fairy? A real fairy?" Some of the girls did not believe what they were seeing.
"Of course, I am a real fairy! Are you blind by any chance?" Tia fought.
"Are you ready to settle down and talk now?" Locke questioned, the girls are still taking no combat stance.
"They are more than ready to calm down now!" A mature voice came from the other direction.
Locke raised an eyebrow in surprise, the woman's presence was almost nil, she was dressed in a black cloak that hid her entire body, leaving nothing to be seen.
"You must be the leader!" Tia commented. "Control your b*tches!"
The woman ignored the fairy and walked over to Locke, when it reached a certain distance she got down on her knees, touching her head to the floor.
"Please forgive these children! They don't know what they are doing!"
"Master!" Several of the girls called together, the scene was unbelievable, their teacher kneeling down to an unknown dangerous man.
"Shut up all of you!" The veiled woman screamed. "Do you even have any idea who you're starting a fight with? He is the one the goddess ordered us not to attack under any circumstances!"
Upon hearing this, the color fled from Wolde's and from the other girls faces, then they all fell to their knees asking for forgiveness.
'Why is there always someone kneeling for me?' Locke thought uncomfortably. "Please, stand up! I'm not mad, your girls just wanted to protect Hanna, I understand!"
