The teleportation spell, which Locke named spatial leap, took him back directly to the city, near the of the Kobolds corpses, to Locke's surprise a group of small green creatures were investigating the bodies, Locke had seen creatures like this before in rifts, but this was the first time he had seen a goblin native of Earth, they were a little taller than the goblins he had seen before, their skin was also a lighter shade of green and they were all bald, Lhe also saw no female among them.
Luckily, the place Locke had arrived at was the same shop he had sent River to hide in, a place relatively afar from the bodies, and none of the goblins noticed him, Locke used the camouflage magic to make himself transparent, he watched the Goblins for a moment and decided which one would be his first target.
The goblins were in a group of six, they were all dressed up as soldiers and carrying machine guns, if their green faces weren't visible they would easily be mistaken for a group of armed children cosplaying soldiers.
The goblins were separated, analyzing the dead Kobolds with interest, especially those that Locke had killed with magic, Locke chose the closest among them, one that was crouched down analyzing the kobold that Locke had turned into a bloody pulp, he was the closest to the store entrance and none of the others were paying attention.
Locke moved like a ghost, he covered the goblin's mouth with one hand while immobilizing it with the other, his movement undid his camouflage but Locke went flying before the other goblins noticed him, all they heard was a loud noise and when they turned around they realized that one of their friends had disappeared, only his gun was left on the ground.
The Goblin in Locke's arms rattled like crazy, his hands gripped Locke's hands that kept him from screaming, but he couldn't compete with the Locke strength, he tried to kick and flail but his efforts are all futile.
"Do you really want me to let you go?" Locke questioned.
The Goblin finally realized they were going higher and higher, his eyes widened with fear and he stopped struggling.
"Good! Now let me see if you're on the naughty list or if you're also a victim..." Locke responded, he grabbed the goblin by the forehead and used his Memory Seeker spell, The goblin screamed in intense pain and Locke started to analyze the information it possessed, after a few seconds Locke sighed.
"Another cannon fodder, I thought you guys were more important since you were armed... But you guys are just as bad as the guys before... Unfortunately I don't have coal to give you, but you'll get a wonderful cordless bungee jump course! Thanks for the info!" Locke released the goblin.
The goblin screamed as he freefalled and Locke dove through the air past him, he went straight to the other four, he fell on the first one crushing him under his feet.
"Damn, I think I stepped on something..." Locke joked.
The other three aimed their guns at Locke and opened fire, but he moved nimbly and dodged easily, he spun in midair and slashed another with his claws, decapitating it.
One of the remaining goblins tried to run, but Locke disappeared from where he was with his ethereal steps, and his claw pierced the goblin's chest easily. The last goblin attempted a suicidal move, he pulled the pin off a grenade and ran towards Locke screaming, but Locke spun and hit him with his wing, sending him flying, where he exploded with his grenade.
After getting rid of enemies Locke went straight to the sky, he was determined to hunt the lone monster teams when he saw something that worried him, it was the same Orc he had fought to save the Lizarkin families, That old Orc armed to the teeth with with dozens of magical relics, in the first fight Locke suffered a bit from being almost out of mana and stamina, he was itching for a rematch against the Orcs, one where he could go all out.
But what worried Locke was the fact that the Orcs were taking two people tied up, Locke recognized them easily, it was none other than Hanna's parents, Azaleah and Joseph, the sight of them both being dragged by the Orcs made Locke's heart jump with concern, he quickly thought about how to proceed, tracing a thousand plans in his head to rescue them both, until the Orc who held the chain tied to Azaleah's wrist gave a hard tug, sending the woman to the ground.
The sight of Azaleah on the ground made Locke's eyes ascend in gold light, his mana exploded and his body fully transformed into his half dragon form, he shot out of the air like a black meteor, enveloped in black mana that burned furiously, he went straight to the Orc who had brought down his mother-in-law. .
The attack was unexpected, Locke descended from the skies and grabbed the face of the huge 10-foot Orc, His claws dug deep into the head of the Orc and Locke squeezed with all his might, blasting it like a melon, just then Locke was back in his sense.
'What the fuck I did ?' was his first thought, he had wasted the element of surprise and had indirectly put both of his in-laws in danger, he didn't even notice when he totally changed shape or activated the dragon force, all his movements had been pure instinctual.
"Shit!" He managed to speak, the Orcs had regained their reactions and were attacking him from all sides, each of them had opened one of those strange smiles of anticipation and amusement he had seen on their first meeting.
Locke looked at both Moongraves, Joshep had knelt beside his wife and was trying to help her up, but both were stunned by the appearance of the draconic creature. Locke took advantage of the two being together and raised his hand, a series of black hexagons shields, his unidirecional shield spell, now evolved into a multidirectional shield, formed around the two, covering them on all sides, it was time to test his new magic.
Locke roared and dark electrical energy surged through his entire body, a dark explosion released a chain of black lightning that ran aimlessly, the lightning flew and passed through the Orcs, electrocuting them with a powerful electric current, causing them to be shocked and fall into the ground with they skin burned, the Orcs had a great vitality and, therefore, had not died, but even they would need time to be able to move again.
Locke took advantage of the seconds of paralysis of the green giants to undo the magical defense he had enveloped the Moongraves, they both looked even more scared when they escaped the protection, Locke ran to them and grabbed them both, jumping into the air at high speed, his mother-in-law and his father-in-law screamed loudly at the movement.
Locke couldn't help but look back as he walked away, all the Orcs were down and there was black smoke escaping from their bodies, all but one, the older Orc was completely fine and standing up, he looked at Locke and grinned in scary way.
Locke knew that if the older Orc had attacked while he was trying to take the Moongraves his rescue wouldn't have worked, Locke had no idea why he didn't get involved, the gear he had seemed to protect him from almost everything, one thing he was sure, the Orc had realized the reason for his concern, he knew that Locke wanted to save these two out of his self-interest, so Locke knew he needed to sort it out, he needed to resolve this situation with these Orcs once and for all.
On the ground, Vargu laughed deeply, his men began to scramble to their feet. "All of you get ready, take your prayers and be ready for an intense fight, The dragonhe will come take our heads or die trying"
"Sir... are you sure he won't run away like the others?" One of the Orcs questioned.
"He won't, the humans he took are important to him, he knows that if he doesn't finish us we'll go after them so he won't take the risk of letting us alone...." Vargu prepared his tonfas and straightened his armor. "This is going to be so much fun!"

Joseph and Azaleah screamed as Locke flew, they seemed to think they were being carried by a monster that would devour them.
"Please calm down, I'm not on their side, I'm here to save you both!" Locke spoke trying to calm them down, hearing the 'thing' talk made them both stop screaming. "I will take you guys to a place without monsters..."
Locke landed on top of one of the city's buildings, his dragon eyes didn't capture the aura of anything near the building so he knew that this was a safe place, he placed them both on the ground with incredible kindness, a kindness that clashed with his current form.
"Are you injured somewhere?" Locke questioned.
Joseph positioned himself in front of Azaleah as if he wanted to protect her with his body, but Locke didn't mind the movement at all, he was looking at them with visible concern.
"...We are well..." Azaleah replied, stepping off her husband's back and exposing herself, it seems she trusted Locke.
Locke sighed in relief, he then got nervous and started to scold them both. "What you two thinking? Have you lost your mind? Why did you go back to the center? You guys should have stayed at the shelter!"
"... I... I needed to help my cops?" Azaleah replied confused, she did not understand the sudden outburst of the draconic creature.
"And how you two were going to do it? You don't even have guns!" Locke continued his scolding. "What if I hadn't come to save you? Do you know how worried your daughters were?"
"How do you know our daughters?" Azaleah questioned right away.
Locke finally realized he was flagging his identity, he had let himself get carried away by his emotions once more and had said too much, he changed the subject right away. "Anyway, go back to the shelter! I'll fix the monsters problem and i will release the prisoners!" He looked around, analyzing the points of light of people's auras. "Everyone who could have already fled the city and those who couldn't have been caught, I'll find a way to free everyone, so go back to the shelter! You going to the center will only get in the way!" Locke jump into the sky flying away.
Azaleah and Joseph watched the dragon-man disappear in the distance, with a confused expression on they faces, both had returned to the city and helped some people to escape, until they found themselves surrounded again by the group of Orcs and were caught, now they had been saved by an unknown draconic man, a draconi man who seemed to know them both.
"What... just happened?" Joseph questioned.
"I think we were saved?" azaleah replied. 'This guy…this guy seemed… familiar…' She thought.

Vargu was waiting calmly, sitting on the ground with his eyes closed, all the orcs around him had their weapons ready and prepared, it didn't take long for Locke to fall in front of they, still in his full dragon form, he gave them a strange look.
Vargu got up slowly and dusted off his clothes, he held the two tonfas in both hands and began to stretch, cracking his bones in the process, his Orcs around him also are preparing.
"My name is Vargu, I the elder of the Sharp Fangs tribe" Vargu bowed to Locke, respectfully. "If possible I would like to know your name"
"... My name is Locke!" Locke replied, he took the big hammer from his inventory and held it in his hands.
"Locke... a good name for a warrior" Vergu commented with a smile. "It's a mystery that I've never heard of a warrior as powerful as you before, you were a pleasant surprise..."
"Why are you doing this?" Locke questioned. "Why are you hunting humans?"
"The cultists have plans for the humans... Something about a door or something…" Vergu replied. "I honestly don't care a bit about it!" Vergu started walking towards Locke, the Other Orcs started to spread around him.
"If you don't care, why are you helping them?" Locke questioned, he watched the movements of each Orc and made plans in his mind to fight them.
"You know, Locke, we Orcs have our own paradise, a magnificent place where the hunting is eternal and battles last forever..." Vergu smiled as he spread his arms wide. "But for an Orc to be worthy to enter such a paradise, he must die in battle against a worthy foe! Since my tribe came to this sh*tty piece of dirty mud what you call the world, it's become harder and harder to find a decent death! But you... you are our f*cking golden ticket! As soon as I saw you I could feel your dragon blood! You are everything I asked to my god and more! If I fight you and win I'll be able to say I'm a f*cking dragon hunter! And if I die against a dragon, I will be my god's right hand in the eternal battle!" The Orc has positioned itself for battle.
Locke knew there would be no more arguments after this point, he assumed his own battle pose, he smiled grimly and his eyes lit up in two golden lights.
"I'm going to kill you all..."
