But Jared trained his senses enough to notice even the slightest movement in their surrounding so he was able to pick out the sound made by the hand when it moved secretly from behind them.

With a single slash, he was able to slice the hand and hit it squarely. On the other hand, the owner of the hand gasped in pain before it fled.

Jared ran after it.

"What is happening? What was that voice? Are we under attack."

Since Cassie could see nothing in the pitch black, so she became more terrified of the unknown. The next thing she knew, she felt warm hands hold her cold and sweaty hands.

"Come with me."

She heard Kyle beckoned to her and without wasting another second, he pulled Cassie.

"It seems like this well is connected to the outside."
