Chapter 37: Nearing The Sect
(September 20, Year 1335)
3 weeks have passed since the Rock Kingdom, and we are now travelling towards the Sect once again.
I didn't care to hear the news from the rock kingdom anymore, I ignored it and went on my way.
It's great that I learned a bit about my family but it did not help me at all.
I told Alexander about the Rockfeller Royal Family being my blood-related relatives from my mother's side, and he asked me how I reacted to it…
I told him that I ripped my grandfather apart and killed my step-grandmother.
He was horrified, of course, since it might've taken a huge toll to my mental health. I said that I don't really feel anything for what I did to them. I didn't feel any guilt from doing all that, only emptiness.
In these 3 weeks, I was as much of a loner as I was before. I only had conversations with Vane, Flare, and Flame. Aside from that, just some small talks with the others. I wanted to bond with all of them, I really do, but I'm not just made to be a social person.

I am currently a very overpowered baby that could take down mountains.
I decided not to dispel my clones for a while since I can just read the books from the system to increase my power level. Also, I completely forgot about the [Fighting] option where I can fight monsters and earn stats for my [Fighting Skills]. I am not skillful at hand-to-hand combat at the moment, so I'll probably need to train for a while once we reach the sect.
And Vane is also at Level 10 of the Soul Detachment Stage, which made him more physically stronger than me. He's also a skilled martial artist due to the fact that Terra had taught him some of her fighting style.
There is also our elemental magic.
Elemental affinity depends on what you were born with. For example, Vane's element is Ice. He can freeze the air solely based on his movements, and Terra took advantage of that by making him learn a lot of ice techniques. Currently, he can freeze an entire hectare of land if he wanted to. He can make the land be covered with snow with his ice techniques alone.
But even though a person's performance with elemental magic depends on their affinity towards a certain element, many can still learn how to control other elements just by studying and practicing it. But it is hard to learn an element you have no affinity in but it is feasible. If you want to learn lightning magic but you only have an affinity towards fire magic, you can just practice and practice until you learn it. But it will take a lot of time to perform a single lightning spell than the time of learning a fire spell.
There is only one way to learn your elemental affinity without cultivating; by using a specific talisman called, "Affinity Discover". A silly name for such an important device.
It is, as a proven fact, easier to just stick to your original affinity and grow stronger from there. Practicing different elements from your affinity will only hinder your progress.
It is different with my condition though; I have a high affinity to all elements!
Tutorial bot explained that to me. If I want to learn light magic, all I have is to study a manual about it or just buy a manual from the [Shop] and instantly learn it. This is one of the perks from being created biologically perfect, I am probably the most talented baby in the entire world right now.
All I need is time to grow, and I have all the time in the world right now!

We have only reached the outskirts of the Leaf Kingdom. We have only passed by Stone Kingdom 2 weeks ago.
Albion Empire rules over 3 kingdoms, The Rock, Stone, and Leaf Kingdom. The rock and stone kingdom are like siblings to one another but I guess their relationship has been pretty "rocky", pun intended, lately since I basically stormed into the Rockfeller Royal Family's castle and killed the queen and severely injured the king.
They couldn't release the news about a baby doing all of that because that will run their image to the dirt even further.
But even if they spread the news about me and issued a bounty on me, I'll still gladly confront all they send to me. I mean, I currently have the power of an Imprisonment Cultivator, albeit I'm still weaker than them since I don't know any good martial arts and any good spells.
Speaking of spells, I've been learning a lot of them from Christopher. He taught me how to increase my mana control first since control is the very first thing I must learn to use strong spells, he told me.
To do that, I'll need to meditate and increase my focus. But that's what my clones have been doing! They've been meditating!
But even then, I still did that every night. I basically exchanged sleep for meditation. I would meditate for 8 hours a day, and noticed that controlling my mana is a bit easier to do than before.
I just shrugged and continued doing that.
Soon, I noticed that my control had increased exponentially and I was able to control my mana more fluidly. I don't really get it either but it's cool.
Anyway, we arrived in the Forest of Beasts. This forest takes up to 10 percent of the entire landmass of the Bronze Continent, and has been highly sought for by the Albion Empire. Many had tried invading this land but thousands of species of magical beasts attacked them, and thousands of illusionary barriers were erected all over the forests, though normal mortals don't know that.
Many have told legends about this forest. How it is the home of a dragon, how it is governed by intelligent beasts, and how it may be a god's domain. But they are all wrong because the one who rules this forest is the Coexistence Sect.
They made this forest their home and have tamed thousands of magical beasts to be the guardians of the forest, while erecting illusionary barriers to fool normal people.
Even though this is their territory, the real home of the Coexistence Sect is under this entire forest. They have made a functioning underground city right under the Albion Empire's nose.
I only know this because Alexander told us all.
"Hey, Auguste, why don't you walk on your own now?" Harry asked me, a bit annoyed that he had to carry me on the way to the forest.
"Be grateful that I'm giving you a chance to exercise, fatty. You're like 100 Kilograms, and still rising! Even though you're not that big, unlike others your weight, that is still pretty dangerous. From now on, I will regulate your exercise schedule so that you lose some weight!"
It is true, even though he is, in all rights, obese, he still looks like a regular fat person despite the fact that once he sits on a chair, that chair, no matter the material it's made, will break because of his weight.
"I know that you just want a free ride on my back!" He said, carrying me on his back.
I only smiled, and said, "Yeah, that too."
