I was a bit excited, wondering what they could have planned to trap me and eliminate me to receive all of my points.
But, alarms rang, and a robotic voice echoed everywhere as it said, "The match has now ended, team heroes have won with a shocking 9 points! Their ace, Auguste, earned 8 points all on his own!"
Eh, damn it. Anyway, at least we won. I just hope the disciples I cruelly defeated aren't angry at me… heh, who am I kidding? Those guys will try to kill me as soon as I get out of this arena! Hahahaha… hahahah… haha… ha…
Meh, I'll deal with it in the future. I'm a bit tired, especially after holding my breath underwater for several minutes.
"All remaining competitors will be teleported outside in 3, 2, 1." The robotic voice said, after which I was sucked into the unknown.
When I opened my eyes, I was already outside, looking at the numerous disciples around me. Scarlet, Alice, and Randy were right by my side, the only team in the whole round that didn't lose a member.
I saw the shark demi-humans growling at me, especially the female one, who, I just noticed, had wounds and a bruise in her waist and stomach.
'Welp, woopsy! So that was the one I latched onto.' I said in my thoughts.
I scratched the back of my head with a sheepish smile as I looked towards her, but she just growled at me and turned to the medical team for help.
Her two other teammates also growled at me, and then left with her.
I saw the cat demi-humans walk towards me in a line.
The one with the black hair and red eyes came forward to talk to me.
She coldly said, "Nice to meet you, human child. Let me get straight to the point; why did you not use your magic during the fight? I sensed that you have such a large amount of mana that it astounds me since, with that amount, you would've bloated and died a very tragic death."
I raised an eyebrow, and replied, "I didn't use my magic because all of you weren't worthy enough. Just like a swordsman who doesn't wield his sword outside of his sheath to non-worthy opponents, I didn't find any worth or value to using magic towards all of you."
I mentally patted myself behind the back for making such a good excuse.
She grew a tick mark, and felt a little insulted.
"Is that an insult, human child?" She asked, growing increasingly annoyed.
I shook my head, and replied, "No, I was just stating a fact." As she was about to explode in anger, I cut her off by saying, "But if you really want to taste my magic, then go for it…"
Multiple clones of myself appeared, surrounding her in a heartbeat.
My eyes glinted dangerously as I said, "… if you have the strength to combat it."
Earth spikes, icicles, firebolts, and wind scythes circled around her in a very threatening manner.
I saw her eyes widened, and she shook as I stared deep into her eyes.
I levitated and looked down on her, "What? Are you afraid? How pathetic!" I said harshly and sharply.
Though, with a snap of my fingers, all of them disappeared instantly.
"Never challenge me ever again in a battle between magic, because you'll surely lose."
This might be a bit excessive, but, with this, I boosted my ego a bit.
I returned to my team as I heard her fall down and faint, but, at that time, I forgot to look at her again. Because her face wasn't scared or afraid at all… it was… aroused.
(Note: Look, I'm not a pedo, I'm just doing this for some comedic relief and a side plot later on. Please understand).
Her teammates carried her, and I went back to my team, to see Scarlet have stars in her eyes as she said, "Wow! You were so cool back there! She couldn't even stand straight in front of you! All right! I have decided to marry you in the future, so be thankful!"
"No," I simply declined her offer. She's too noisy and annoying.
Randy cringed as he heard her heart break into pieces.
He ignored that, and said, "I'm sorry, I couldn't even eliminate them."
He is talking about the sharks.
"Don't worry about it. The great thing is that we managed to win, that's it. But you'll have to bring more bombs with you in the next battle; the Rank Battles, since it'll be a lot harder," I said to him.
He nodded, and said, "Yeah, I'll do that! Don't worry, next time, I'll get more points!"
I saw Alice looking a bit sad.
I smiled at her and pinch her cheeks, as I said, "Why are you sad now, Alice?"
"I-It's just t-that I c-couldn't be o-of help t-to you g-guys," She confessed.
"That's fine, it's not like it's the end of the world or something. Besides, I wouldn't want my older sister to be hurt!" I said, talking to her in a brotherly way,
"Mhmm," She nodded, happy.
We all looked up as we heard the voice of the proctor, Arsus, speak, "So, this just in, folks! The total points acquired by each team will be displayed in the mana screen!"
[The Heroes – 9p]
[The Felines – 1p]
[The Monkey Emperors – 0]
[The Biters – 0]
[The Iron Defense Squad – 0]
Heh, I restrained myself from laughing at the ridiculously unfair amount of points my team had than the other teams.
We basically destroyed them!
"Looks like The Heroes won by a landslide! I can't say I don't feel sorry for the other teams, but damn! That's just straight up unfair! And a 4-year-old earned most of that!? Some disciples out there might be embarrassed to be defeated by a child!" Arsus said on his mic.
Don't even mention embarrass, they were ashamed of themselves! Especially Sulien, who is watching the tournament through the small mana screen in front of his hospital bed.
He had his 3 monkey goons also wearing casts and bandages in the other beds beside his.
"Damn it! This is because I didn't train harder!! Next time, I'll train for a decade before taking the tournament again! Hu! Hu! Hu! Fighting!" He yelled, with much enthusiasm than before!
His monkey goons all panicked as they heard him say that, and one of them said, "Boss! Don't train for another decade straight! We have to advance to the next rank or else nothing good will happen to us!"
Sulien narrowed his eyes, and said, "Are you insulting me!? You think I won't be able to train for another decade!? Then I'll train for TWO decades!!"
""BOSS!!""
That day, they had to convince their boss to change his plans desperately because, at this rate, they will stay as D-Class Disciples for the rest of their lives.
