Chapter 66: Bazooka Rabbit

When I returned home, I was tired. My teammates were also tired, that's why they couldn't disturb me.

Since I have an entire week for myself, I decided to just relax and take things easy for now.

I decided to dispel all of my clones that were working on my physical training, and instantly doubled my current [Physical] Stat.

[Physical: 4,200,000]

With this, I could probably defeat some of them. I cannot use my magic spells due to what my master said to me, being that I'll have to win the rank battles without the use of magic.

I really want to curse his name for making me do this but I can't, since he might hear me even though he's not here. There might be someone listening to me right now since I am, after all, Patriarch Yule's disciple. He might have a secret guard guarding me!

Sitting on my couch, I yawned. I was pretty sleepy at this point since I did a lot of things today and it's already 7 in the night.

So, with nothing else to do, I started a conversation with Tutorial Bot.

'What do you think I should do? Those guys are serious as hell! I don't have much fighting experience, and I can only use my martial arts to defeat them. I need to win, or else.'

I heard him sigh, and said: [Since you're asking the great me for help, then I'll tell you some things. Do you remember the [Fighting] function?]

'Yeah?'

[Instead of sending your clones to fight while you idly sit there, why don't you fight in there instead? You would gain fighting experience each time you defeat an opponent, but you won't be able to earn any Kill Points]

I thought about it, and replied, 'Hmm, okay. Let me try that.'

Opening my status screen, I tapped the [Fighting] option and saw a list of opponents. Most of them were locked, except for one; The Bunny.

I saw something by its name, and my eyes widened in shock as I saw its power level.

"One hundred million!? That's its power level!? Are you serious!?"

Yes, it's power level is 100,000,000. While I have three times that, it's still ridiculous how powerful it is for a bunny!

Sighing, I said, "Is this really how it is? How strong are my future opponents?"

[… A lot stronger than you think. It's not even fair. Anyway, good luck… you'll f*cking need it]

I pressed it and a "fight" option showed. I tapped it, and then everything around me broke like glass and I saw myself in a grass plain that stretched as far as my eyes could see.

When I looked in front of me, I saw a bunny wearing a green cap.

It had white fur, cute black eyes, and the certain touch of cuteness that every bunny has.

Its head twitched, looking at me with curiosity in its eyes.

"Kyuu?"

I raised my hand to wave at it, and said, "Hi?"

Then, everything went to sh*t.

Its eyes suddenly went crazy red! I backed away, but it pulled out a big and long green tube.

Then, it smiled, crazily might I add, and pressed something in that green tube before a large bullet the size of my body was launched at me!

*Fwoosh!*

It was fast!

I dodged it, but it only curved and still went towards me!

So, I decided to run away.

"F*ck!" I cursed as I saw the large bullet closer to me than I expected! It was almost as fast as me!

With difficulty, I raised a mana barrier in front of me, then it exploded on impact.

I was blasted away from my original position, and when I was able to land without any scratch, I saw something that scared the living f*ck out of me…

There was a crater in front of me. A two-kilometer wide crater was in front of me. Gone was the green grass, the only thing that remained was the charred dirt around it…

I stared in shock, horror, and fear. If that thing hit me earlier, I would've been dead! Not just dead, but obliterated!

I saw the bunny at the other side of the crater, pointing that thing at me again, and I only said this; "Nope!"

"Tutorial bot, get me out of this!" I yelled.

[That'll cost you 10,000 KP]

"I don't give a flying f*ck! Get me out of here!" At this point, the bunny had already pressed the trigger and a missile-like-bullet came out of the green tube!

[Fine, fine, so loud, jeez]

I'll kill you!

[Alright, gosh!]

I was instantly back in my room again, and I sat on my couch, having just faced a stressful situation.

'Okay. From now on, I won't try that ever again until I'm stronger than that bunny!' I made a mental note.

"That was the worst moment in my life!" I said, resting my back against the couch.

[The worst moment, "so far"]

"F*ck you and your smartass!" I yelled, annoyed.

[Chill a bit, jeez. That bunny is the weakest opponent in the [Fighting] Option, yet you've already given up. You could've taken it out!]

"I'm not going to risk my life on that thing, tutorial bot. I'd rather share a room with Scarlet than face that scary thing ever again!"

This is obvious, but I think I've developed a trauma towards bunnies.

"What was that thing in its paws anyway?" I asked.

[That was a bazooka. That's a weapon from the planet Earth. It's not that strong, normally, but that bazooka has been enhanced to take out smaller gods. Don't blame me though, blame your creator for making such weapons, and blame his humor also]

I sighed, lying down on my couch, and said, "It doesn't matter anymore. I'm going to sleep, and I'm gonna visit the beast tower tomorrow for fighting experience and Kill Points."

[Yeah, good choice. Night-night]

"Goodnight, tutorial bot," I said, then went to sleep afterwards.

(May 9, The Year 1336)

Morning came to bask over Vane's house, shining his roof with its light.

But inside, Vane was struggling.

'Kill… kill… KILL… KILL!!"

"Shut up!" Vane yelled as he lied on his bed, motionless.

The voices… they were early. His coming of age has not passed, yet they have already grown impatient.

He cannot lose himself… no, he won't become like his brother.

But he was tired of this… maybe he could take a brea—NO! He won't be fooled by their enticement!

He has to find a way to suppress them, or the consequences will be dire. He doesn't want to hurt anyone, no, never.

He doesn't want to be like his brother… never… he would never… hurt anybody…
