Fully set on using the demonic cultivator for as long as possible to refine his sword soul and comprehend the Dao of the Sword through combat, Xuan Hao didn't use anything other than his sword to fight. Giving the demonic cultivator the opportunity to fight back to some extent.

Although the difference in strength between both of them was still quite obvious and the demonic cultivator wouldn't be able to hold on forever, it at least gave the demonic cultivator enough hope to continue fighting back with all of strength.
