"What's going on? What's all this commotion?" Lincoln Green heard Diana Edith's cry of pain and rushed upstairs.
Rose Taylor glared at Abigail, "It's nothing, just an accident. Aunt Edith was cleaning Abigail's room and accidentally fell. Abigail, you were not scared, were you?"
The words were of concern, but her eyes contained a firm warning.
"Uh-huh." Abigail nodded quietly, having lowered her head.
Lincoln Green was never fond of this attitude of Abigail, but looking at her daughter who distressed herself about him, he unusually didn't lose temper, "Eat your meal after cleaning."
"It will be done soon." Rose answered.
Abigail concealed her displeasure, she gently tugged on her father's clothes, "Dad, I lost my wallet. If it weren't for Mr. Pei..."
"Mr. Pei will be your brother-in-law in the future, it's natural for him to help you." Rose said without letting Lincoln Green speak.
