Chapter 22: How about letting Abigail get engaged?

"Abigail, run!" Aunt Claudia cried, trembling with fear.

Over the years, under the control of Rose Taylor, Jackson Taylor acted brazenly and arrogantly in the Green household, behaving as he pleased. Especially since Abigail was weak-willed and not favored by Lincoln Green, this made the Taylors increasingly reckless.

Abigail didn't move; her fingers caressing a slender silver needle, the very memento she had kept after stitching a wound.

"Ha, ha, ha, idiot!" Seeing her standing still, Jackson Taylor cursed and was about to attack her.

In a flash, a figure lunged at Jackson. Abigail hesitated, then heard Jackson's cursing, "You crazy bitch, how dare you lay a hand on me. I will... Ahh!!"

Before he could finish, a black boot stepped on Jackson's wrist, and screams immediately filled the air.

Abigail arched an eyebrow, looking at Pullan who seemed to have come out of nowhere. "Mr. Pullan, what is this?"
