Chapter 26: The inexplicably angry Mr. Pei

After ending the call with Lincoln Green, Abigail dialed 110.

Turning around, she saw Brandon Piers leaning against the wood-carved railing, hand in his pocket, looking at her with a faint smile.

Abigail was taken aback. Looking at the man's upward curling lips, she was a medical student, usually more rational than emotional, but at this moment she imagined him in a white robe with his black hair flowing, he must have graced the spring scenery.

But it was only a moment before her rationality returned, somewhat curious how much of her phone conversation he had overheard.

"Does Mr. Piers enjoy eavesdropping?" Abigail took the initiative.

"This is my home." Brandon Piers didn't show any signs of guilt for intruding on someone's privacy, his tone relaxed and leisurely.

Abigail nodded, "True."

After saying that, she was about to leave, but Brandon Piers didn't move, "Going to Sincere? Allow me to give you a ride."
