Chapter 87: Guilt Makes the Heart Soft

By the latter part of June, the temperature in Gills City was rising, dragging along a sweltering heat.

Abigail had a naturally robust build which made her less tolerable to heat than those around her. She sweated profusely, constantly emitting a sticky sweet smell that could not be washed off, even Kelly couldn't resist reminding her out of fear she would give herself away.

Thankfully, the old house was teeming with lush vegetation, providing cool places to relax in the early morning and late evening.

Abigail's favorite spot was under the plantain trees by the Imperial Garden pond, pushing Teddy's stroller. Not only was there a cool breeze, but she could also watch the koi that her grandfather kept.

Juicy and vibrantly colored.
