Chapter 89: The Plateau Period of Weight Loss

After hanging up the phone, Abigail's previously gloomy mood improved.

She had always believed in Lawyer Jones' capabilities, otherwise she would not have used her connections from her previous life to engage him.

Indeed, he did not disappoint her.

Her tense heart relaxed a little bit. After practicing boxing with Elder Piers, she took a shower and headed for the dining room, where she smelled a strong, rich aroma.

Upon entering, she saw a table full of dishes: braised carp, squirrel fish, and fried fish. While she was still surprised, the cook brought out a bowl of crucian carp soup, from which the aroma was wafting out.

Abigail unconsciously licked her lips and asked the cook, "A full fish banquet?"

"Yes, as ordered by the young master," The cook responded before returning to her kitchen duties. Abigail was left alone, staring blankly at a table filled with fish prepared in a variety of ways.

She didn't know whether to laugh or to be annoyed.
