Chapter 149: Abigail Green, why are you so vicious?

A pair of old lovebirds, having exchanged their tender words and feelings, walked hand in hand away from the private room of the hotel to the center of attention downstairs - the engagement ceremony. They left the battlefield to the next wave.

Only then did Abigail push open the door, meeting the eyes of Mona Wilde.

Before she could react, Mona swung a slap toward her.

"Ah, Abigail..." A melodramatically feminine voice instantly attracted everyone's attention.

Abigail sidestepped Mona's slap, shooting a sarcastic glance at Ruby, the bride-to-be, who was equally adorned in a wedding gown and looking stunningly delicate and fairy-like.

"Abigail Green, how could you be so vile?" Mona stuttered, pointing an accusing finger at Abigail when her slap missed.

Feeling the collective gaze on her, Abigail turned to face an outraged Mona, who seemed ready for a showdown. "Oh, how was I vile?" she asked.

"You… You..." Words failed Mona, who suddenly broke into a sob.
