An hour later, Brandon Piers arrived at the Waldorf.
Entering the hotel, Brandon knocked on Eva Bell's room door.
Eva had been waiting for a long time, opened the door for Brandon, then turned away and walked inside, full of cold indifference.
Brandon wasn't too surprised, followed his mother, and closed the door behind him. He watched her sit at the bar and pour herself a drink, "Mother, we need to talk."
Many things needed to be settled.
"Do you know what this is?" Eva ignored Brandon, holding up a small remote control instead.
Brandon guessed what it was at a glance, feeling a slight pain in his chest as his gaze turned cold. "Whether I know or not, what difference does it make?"
"Ayang, you really are a genius. Even though you and Sofia are twins, you are nothing alike. You resemble him too much at times, evoking an uncontrollable urge to destroy." Eva whispered as if talking to herself.
