Three minutes after Bertha Swift had left, Adam Piers was still in a daze.

He stared blankly at the three transactions on his phone, feeling as if he'd been slapped three times — painful and exhilarating!

Ray Leighton walked in and saw the dazed Adam, holding the traditional Flowery medicine that Bertha Swift had rejected. "Master Adam, why did Miss Swift leave? What should we do with this medicine?"

Ray nodded.

"Then you drink it." Adam threw out this sentence, finally getting up to call David Locke.

Ray thought he was hearing things, looked at Adam who stood up, and then at the still warm, dark traditional Flowery medicine in his hand, "Master Adam, this is medicine, not barbecue. Eating it randomly could kill someone."

"I've tried it, it won't kill you." Adam replied, suppressing his bottled-up anger, and dialed the phone.
