He woke and was hit with a strong sense of confusion AS he realized that he was in a forest that he had never seen before.

In the past year, he had traveled through all Remnant in order to deal with the Bandits, rebels, and other criminals and had seen almost all the forest in that world.

Which was why he felt strange when he couldn't remember seeing this type of forest in that place. Anywhere.

But that was not the only thing wrong here.

His body… felt strange.

He looked down on his body and… huh…

Orange jacket and orange trousers.

There was only one character in the entire anime world who wore these clothes.

And just like that, the memories came back to him.

He had selected the Naruto world and he and his wives had gained the option to Drop-in, become an Extra, Substitute a character from the world or Possess a character from some other world and bring them here.

He wondered what options his wives had picked up for themselves.

He was worried about their safety.

In his excitement to go to the next world, he had forgotten about the 'Origins' and for all he knew, all of them were currently scattered throughout the Elemental Nations.

He needed to find a way to contact them.

He reached for his pockets and took out a… scroll?

He unfurled the scroll and came face to face with the same interface he had seen on the phone. Except that it was written on paper.

He decided not to think about how strange this all looked and pressed the Contact Icon.

The view on the paper scroll changed and he was had his contact screen on hand.

He scrolled down until he reached Pyrrha's contact number. He was about to press it when he paused.

He didn't know what kind of situation his wives had landed in.

He had seen too many movies in which the girl was trying to hide from the mass murderer and then suddenly, her phone started to ring and by the time she closed it, the mass murderer was already upon her.

Let's not make the same mistake.

He knew that even if his wives died, they'll be able to live in 3 days. But he didn't want them to die in the first place.

How else to communicate with them…

He went to the catalog and looked if it had something that'll allow him to contact his wives. It wasn't long before he came across the perfect option that'll allow him to do just that.

'It's called Telepathy you little goofling.' A strange voice that he had never heard before replied and all the chatter stopped at once as everyone focused on this new voice.

'Neo… Is that you?' he asked.

'No. It's Miltia.' …Neo replied.

Oh! They were talking though telepathy so Neo just needed to think and her thoughts will be transmitted to them.

'Hey. Don't put the blame on me.' Miltia said.

'I'm out.' Neo said and suddenly, there was one less person in the Mind Chatroom thing.

He had a feeling that if he wanted then he could force her into a conversation with the rest of them but that would be rude.

If Neo wanted her privacy then he would damn well give her some.

There was silence in the Chatroom as he realized that his thoughts had transmitted through the connection.

'Are all of you safe?' he mentally asked.

They started to reply at once and he let his displeasure shine through the Shroud.

'Okay. One by one. And from the youngest to the oldest.' He said 'Ruby. Are you safe?'

'Yeah Jaune. I… think that I'm in an orphanage. In the body of a 13 year old girl… Oh Jaune! I didn't kill this girl did I?'

'Then I'm there. Are you here as well?' She asked.

'Yes. I'll meet you tomorrow. Go to sleep now.' He said and got an affirmative from her before her mind faded away from the connection.

'Now.' He said 'Everyone. Don't bother telling me where you are as you might not have a landmark like the Hokage mountain to recognize your location. Just tell me if you're safe or not.'

'We're safe Jaune.' Melanie replied 'We took the extra and me and Miltia are twin sisters in this world as well. Though we're back in 13 year old bodies. This is weird.'

'Okay. What about you. Pyrrha. Yang.'

'I'm safe as well Jaune. I'll meet you tomorrow.' Pyrrha said. He could feel her mischievous intent and had a feeling that he was in for a surprise. Oh god. He hoped that she hadn't substituted in Hinata or Ino or Sakura in order to be near him so that she could protect him.

'Yang?'

'Umm… can we talk later. I'm kinda busy here Jaune.'

He frowned. He could feel the shame and nervousness coming from her.

'Yang. What are you doing?' he asked, his suspiciousness emanating through the shroud.

'Umm… Nothing?'

'Yang. Tell him what you're doing.' Raven's hard words echoed through the connection.

'I…' He could feel the shame and fear radiating off of the Shroud and he didn't like it.

'I'll tell you.' Salem said with a sigh.

'Wait! Y… You promised!'

'I did. But now Jaune has found out so your plan is bound to fail either way.' Salem said without much care 'Yang is currently sitting on the back of one of my titans and is going to Amegakure to defeat this Nagato and take his eyes. And… I'm here with her as well.'

Silence.

'Yang.' He said, and he sensed her flinched at the immense displeasure rolling off of him 'Go back to the Pocket Dimension. Now. I'll deal with you later.'

'But… Jaune…' Yang said in a begging tone but he didn't care.

'Go back home Yang. Now. The more you dilly dally the harsher your punishment will be.' He said.

She could probably feel how serious he was right now because she didn't try to argue with him and just nodded.

He felt her fade away from the connection.

'I'll watch over her.' Salem replied and vanished from the connection as well.

'This is such a headache.' He thought 'What about the rest of you.'

'I'm safe as well.' Jessie replied 'I think I'm in… Awa? The place with the Earth element users.'

'Iwa.' He corrected 'What about you Raven.'

'I'm safe.' Raven said and faded away from the connection.

'Maria?'

'I'm safe. I'm in Kumo… I think. It has tall mountians and cloudy atmosphere right?'

'I skipped.' She said, a bit embarrassed.

'Skipped?' he asked, feeling confused.

'Ah… yes. I'm still back in home. I didn't participate in this jump. And Yang and Salem just returned to the mansion, in case you want to know.'

He had no idea that you could just skip a jump.

'Ohh… Okay then.' He said and looked around the forest, his eyes falling on the large scroll in on the ground near him 'I'm doing something important so I'll talk with you later. Stay safe everyone!'

With that, he cut the connection.

He could still passively feel his wives through the shroud and had a feeling that he'll know if one of them got into danger.

'They'll be fine.' He reassured himself and looked at the Scroll of Seals.

It was time to get started.
