SALEM POV

She walked into her home, her obedient Grimm following behind her before she paused and looked at the new face in the Mansion.

"You must be Mei Terumi." She said as she raised an elegant hand and stopped her Grimm from coming any closer. "Welcome to the family."

"Thank you." The woman replied with a smile "You must be Salem. The person that commands those large black creatures flying in the sky. Neo told me about you."

"I see. Have you met Jaune by now?" She asked.

"Jaune?" Mei asked with a frown "Do you mean Naruto?"

"Yes. Jaune, as he was called back in Remnant. Naruto, as he's called in the Elemental nations. My husband. And soon he'll be yours as well."

"No. I just came a few minutes ago..." Mei said and gestured around her. "To see everything."

"And how do you find this place?" She asked as she took a seat and gestured for her to take one as well.

A moment later, a bipedal imp arrived in the living room and gave them a tray filled with snacks and lemonade made by the clones that Jaune/Naruto had left behind in the Mansion.

"You haven't been Shrouded yet, yes?"

"No. Only stamped. And without my permission as well." Mei said with a huff, trying to look indignant even though both of them were aware that Mei didn't resent either Neo or Naruto for this.

She stayed quiet and waited for Mei to speak up. After a long silence, the young woman spoke up again.

"Neo said that being Shrouded would make me far more powerful than I currently am. Is that true?" Mei asked, looking at her with a confidence that could only be seen in people who were truly strong or were just arrogant.

In Mei's case, it was both.

The woman was strong, there was no doubt in it. If they had not come to this world then Mei would easily be one of the 3 strongest women in this World.

But now that they were here, Mei couldn't even be counted in the top 10.

The woman was strong but as she was now, even one of the Malachite twins could kill her within minutes if not seconds.

That won't be the case once Jaune/Naruto shrouds her and takes her from 6th tier to 7th tier, making her leagues stronger than any other Kage in the Elemental Nations at the moment.

"Yes. Though I have to ask you, why do you crave power?" She asked.

"To protect the Village Hidden in the Mist." Mei said without a second's delay "The village was in Civil War until a few years ago. The 4th Mizukage had ordered the slaughter of all the people with Bloodlines. There was no one to lead us so I took charge and became the leader of the rebels. It took a lot of sacrifices but we finally managed to kill the 4th Mizukage and bring peace to the land. We're now recovering but it'll take us a lot of time and resources before we're able to become prosperous once again. In order to get there, I need to keep my people in line and destroy anyone that tries to rebel against my rule. And for that, I need more power. Not that I'm weak at the moment but more power always helps."

She looked at the woman for a long moment before she nodded.

"Protecting your home is a good reason to want to become stronger." She said "But Remember. This is your home as well. And we're now your family. If you want some help from us, then don't hesitate to ask for it."

Mei raised a delicate eyebrow "I know you people are strong. But I don't know how many resources you have. How can you help me?"

"You don't need to worry about resources or power." She said "We have both. What you need to worry about is how you'll use my husband's patronage to bring prosperity in your village."

Mei blinked and smiled. "It looks like I'll get even more out of this deal than I had first imagined."

"You will." She said with absolute certainty.

Mei's eyes then went to the Grimm that had followed her to the mansion. Or what those Grimm were carrying to be exact.

"Salem, why are those Grimm carrying coffins?"

She wondered if she should tell Mei or not.

Jaune/Naruto wouldn't mind, would he? Not when all other women in their family already knew about it. And since Mei was already captured, she couldn't betray them. In fact, Mei wouldn't even think about betraying them.

So she decided to tell Mei the truth.

"Do you know about the dojutsu known as the Rinnegan?"

"I think I've heard about them once or twice before. Aren't they the eyes that the Sage of the Six Paths was rumored to have?" Mei asked with a frown.

She nodded "It is and one of its powers is…"

Half an hour later.

"So you're telling me that Naruto plans to revive those women and then either have them join his family or sell them to this… 'company'."

She nodded. "Doing this would allow him to get the credit he needs to buy the Dragon Blood perk."

"Wait! Neo told me that Naruto could turn into a Dragon. I thought that she was joking around back then. Are you saying that she being serious?" Mei asked in astonishment.

She nodded and created an illusion to show Mei what kind of Dragon Jaune/Naruto could turn into. "He can. And in this form, he is the strongest out of all of us." She paused "If my titans gang up on him then he would still be defeated so I suppose I could be counted as the strongest being here. But he is growing larger, stronger and faster every day so it's only a matter of time before he becomes stronger than even all my Titans combined."

Just thinking about such a sight made her wet. Not that she allowed any such thoughts to be reflected on her expression.

Mei nodded. "And what does this perk 'Dragon Blood' do?"

"You can read about it on your scroll instead of asking me." She replied.

"Scroll?" Mei replied and then paused as she took out a paper scroll from her pocket. "Is this the Scroll you're talking about?"

"Neo didn't tell you?"

"She didn't tell me anything." Mei said and slumped on the comfy sofa "I had to practically interrogate her and bribe her with a lot of sweets to learn what little I know."

She nodded, wondering if she should teach the new girl about how the Company device worked.

She felt that such tasks were beneath her but she had nothing else to do at the moment so she might as well.

"Come here. Let me teach you how to use that."
