Poem 17- Delightful

There are many things I find delightful

Food, sleep, jokes, pleasure.

So many rivals, so many treasures

I am going to enjoy them to the end of my time

But for now, I am in my prime

Line after line after line

They are mine, so I would use that to spite you

Oh yes, so delightful

Be spiteful, be displeasured

This delicacy cannot be measured

I agree, I can be prideful

But that anger, I find it delightful

I might not live long with my ego

But it's all important to me though

For my last stance, I pray

But not to God or man

But to this day, let me live long

Answer me fate, answer before I am gone

I still want to enjoy all the things I find delightful

From now to the end of my days
