He Knows

"Okay, class," Mr. Miyoga said. " For your hero training today we're going to be doing a little race. As you know the sports festival is coming up and you need all the training you can get."

We put put on our gym uniforms and headed outisde.

" Okay, first up is Akio Kaminari and Sato," Our teacher said. " Yes you can use your quirks."

Akio and Hijiri went to the starting lines.

"Begin!"

Hijiri's quirk didn't help him at all with speed that much but it did help him stall people. He tripped Akio and started running. Hijiri finished in five seconds. He didn't look that impressed.

" Be aware of your opponents moves next time, Kaminari," Mr. Miyoga told him. " Next up is Nakamura and Watanabe."

I didn't know a thing about Makato Watanabe's quirk because he never showed it. I don't even think I heard him talk before.

" Begin!"

I got about halfway towards the finish line when I got a picture inside of my head.

All of my friends and family was there. They were laughing and smiling. Then the ground below them collapsed. I tried to run and save them but the ground crumbled where I was standing too.

I found myself back outside. I was on my knees with tears pouring out my eyes.

" Are you alright, Nakamura?," Mr. Miyoga asked.

I looked at Watanabe. Blood trickled down his nose and he had a sly smile on his face. He wiped the blood away and stood behind the rest of the class.

When all the afternoon classes were over Mr. Miyoga took us on a five minute walk to a large mansion looking building that said 1-D on it.

" This is where your dorms will be," He showed us a paper where everybody's rooms where and other places. " Your stuff is already in your rooms. Now leave me alone."

Our teacher left.

My room was on the fourth floor next to Akito Uraraka's and Riki Bakugo's. I unpacked my stuff and started decorating my room. It was really simple. There was a desk with a lamp where I could do homework and stuff. I had a poster with the top three heroes on it: Shoto,Ground Zero, and Deku. I also had a Deku figure sitting on my dresser. My bed had black sheets with a blue cover. But most of the room was filled with posters and figures of the top three heroes.

The next day the whole class decided to have a little dorm contest. I had to go first when everybody was waiting my door I refused to move from it.

" Come on man it can't be that bad!," Kenji tried pushing me away. " Let us see!."

" Over my dead body," I said.

One of the girls push me away making me fall to the ground.

" To be honest," Tadashi said, " I expected something worse."

" Yeah," the class agreed.

" Thank god," I said in my head.

We saw all of the other rooms. Most of them were ok I guess. But the most simple one was Nori's. It looked like something you would expect from a normal teenage girl.

When everybody was about to go to sleep I decided to make a stop.

I knocked on Watanabe's door three times. It cracked open.

" What," his voice asked.

" Uhm, it's Daiki," I said. " Daiki Nakamura. I wanted to ask if it was you who made me see what I saw during the race."

He opened the door all the way and stepped out. He was a bit taller than me. His purple hair covered his eyes.

" With my quirk I can see inside peoples head," he said. " And I can get inside their head. Does that answer your question?"

He began to walk back inside his room. It took me a while to process what he meant by see inside peoples heads. If he could see that then that meant...

I stopped his door with my foot and looked him dead in the eyes.

" What do you know?," I asked.

Watanabe stepped back out and slammed his door shut. He began to walk closer to me and I stepped back until my back was against a wall.

" I know you were born without a quirk. I know the number one hero gave you his quirk he calls One For All. I know who his children are. I know everything about you. I also don't need to peek in Sato's mind to see why he hates you. Your annoying and weak, like a bug someone can't shake off," He went back into his dorm and closed the door.

I'm not sure I got any sleep that night. I'm not sure I even blinked once.
