Fight Fire With Fire! Breaking Our Limits!

Today's hero training was quite unexpected.

" There's been Quite the number of villian attacks in Japan lately and a lot of heroes have there hands full twenty-four-seven so it's important that you all learn how to work as a team. You will be put in groups of three and you'll have to battle a robot that was used during the U.A. sports festival race," Mr. Miyoga said. " Yes it is big and no you may not take it out in one blow. You have to work together and if you don't you get a big F in todays training."

Hijiri had an eager look on his face. I guessed that was because he could trash something without getting in trouble.

" Group 1: Tadashi, Nanako, and Akio," Mr.Miyoga started.

Then he finally got to my group.

" Daiki, Sachi, and Hijiri. Hijiri I don't want to see any fighting with Daiki, got it?"

" HOW COME YOU PUT IN A GROUP WITH HIM?!," HIJIRI YELLED.

" You two need to learn how to get along," he said. " I think your battle against the robot will be the greatest. So I'm saving the best for last."

Hijiri looked extremly agitated by this. He didn't mind going with Sachi. Probally because Sachi was the only one who could get within two feet from him without getting stabbed somewhere.

[One Hour and Thirty minutes later]

" Ok the last team is Daiki, Hijiri, and Sachi,"Mr. Miyoga announced.

We went outside of the room and headed onto Ground Gamma.

" This'll be a breeze," Hijiri said. " Don't get in my way Daiki. I'll take that machine down myself."

" But you heard what Mr. Miyoga said. We have to work together or it won't count," I told him.

" I don't care. I'd rather work with anyone but you."

" Come on Sato," Sachi said. " We'll have a better chance at fighting the thing if we work together."

I sensed something while Hijiri was trying to prove his point to Sachi. I barely dodged when A giant medal fist tried to make contact with me.

I thought for a few seconds. Then, I finally got it.

" I have a plan!," I said.

" Like I'd listen to you," Hijiri said.

I gave him a serious look.

Hijiri scowled. " If you have such a great idea then you better not mess this up or I swear I'll kill you."

I charged up to 15%, Hijiri got his hands ready, and Sachi got his fire ready.

" We'll need to make a huge impact on it. From what I know a machine weakspot is it's top part. I learned that during my internship! We'll have to take it out in one whole blow. Together!," I said. " We'll have to launch ourselves in the air-." I dodged another attack from the robot. " I'll then create a ghust of wind while Sachi aims his fire at the robot to make the fire swirl like a tornado. Hijiri your the most important weapon. You'll disconnect you knives from your hands sending them towards the robot piercing it's top."

I then smiled, " Don't mess this up, Carver."

I gave them both a signal to start our attack. I jumped into the air. Sachi used his fire to launch both him and Hijiri up in the air. He sent his fire towards me.

" Raptor Rush 20% Turbo Spin Attack!," I thought.

I Spun as fast as I could to make the fire go around me. I got a little peak of Hijiri's knives hitting the robot.

I have to keep it for a little longer, I told myself.

Deku had taught me how to create heavy winds by flicking my finger.

I put my right middle finger against my thumb.

" Washington smash!," I thought.

The wind caused The fire to head towards the robot.

" FIRE SPEAR TORNADO," Hijiri, Sachi, and I yelled.

When all the smoke cleared medal and wires were scattered everywhere.

" That was too easy," Hijiri said. " I guess you got better or whatever, Daiki."

There was a pain in my finger. I took of my glove. It wasn't broken. It was just heavily bruise. I also suddenly felt really tired. Was it because I used to much of my quirk?

[THIRD PERSON]

In the locker room as Daiki was taking of my suit Tadashi decided to make conversation.

" I'm suprised on how well you three did together," he said. " Sato even decided to cooperate with you. What's up with you two and the hate anyways?"

" None of your buisness," Daiki said as he walked out of the locker room.

" Jeez, what's up with him. Did I say something wrong," Tadashi asked.

" You probally hit him with a hard topic," Sachi said. " Maybe Sato or Daiki did something in the past to upset in the past other ."

" I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO HIM!," Hijiri yelled.

" Don't use your quirk too close to the heater Sato," Akio yelled. " You'll blow us all up!"

[An Hour later in the common room]

[DAIKI POV]

I didn't know why I just stormed away from the locker room like that but I just didn't want to talk about me and Hijiri's past. I don't know why but ever since the day he found out I was quirkless when we were ten years old he would always act like he never knew me. Like I was just another everyday weakling he would just pick on randomly. It made me angry just thinking about it. I knew I had to forget about the horrible moments that happened before I got this quirk.

That stuff didn't matter anymore. I was a diffrent person. I had a whole new life. I was stronger now and I had to take advantage of that. I have to stop acting weak.
