New Moves! My Air Force!

Today Mr. Miyoga was going to take us to work on some new super moves. And six heroes were also there to observe! Really, Shoto, Ground Zero, Chargebolt, and Deku were there!

" Ok everyone go ahead and spread out," Mr. Miyoga told us.

I already had a couple of moves down. Literally all of them were One For All smashes that Deku already uses. Raptor Rush Turbo and Lightning speed are just forms that I haven't even mastered yet. I knew it would be harder to come up with small moves. I stared at the big rock I was going to test on.

" What should I do," I asked myself.

I thought about what Mr. Miyoga and Deku had taught me so far. I should probably start off with a move I would be able to use freely in my Turbo form. That's when I finally got it! This move would only be available at 15% to 100%.

" One For All 15%," I thought. " Raptor Rush Turbo! Air Guard!"

I put my left hand in a fist and a wall of air was now connected to the back of my arm like arm guards. It probably wouldn't be effective for attacking but it could be good for defense in certain situations. I thought of this move based on my knowledge of the hero Aeris due to the fact that he can create solid air and One For All can make powerful gusts of wind. I can't hold the move for long and when I do have it activated it can easily be broken through. In order to keep the Air Guard strong I would have to make my arms stronger than they currently are.

Now that I had a Defensive move down I would have to come up with one that works on Attacks and another that works on my stamina. I looked down at Deku. His look was a bit serious while he was observing the rest of the class. I then looked at Hijiri. I could see that he was having trouble since sharp metal probably would be hard to use against solid rocks.

The best combat hero I know is Ground Zero. Maybe his moves will help me come up with something. I thought about his AP Shot: Auto Cannon move, then I remembered Deku's Air Force stage. I looked at my gloves. The last change I noticed from them was when I did that internship with my brother. The person who had made the upgrade was Mei Hatsume. She made them higher and more sturdy on my arms and there was something on the wrist of the gloves that I never tried out.

I activated the gloves and held my right index finger on my thumb. I held One For All at 10% for about twenty seconds. I let go and sent bullets of air at a rock. Holding One For All allowed me to do many air bullets at once. The gloves helped me do it without strain and let me do it even faster than my normal speed. The rock I had sent my bullets at was now in chunks.

" Auto Air Cannon!," I shouted in delight.

"TADASHI, WATCH OUT!," I heard Hijiri yell.

" Huh?," Tadashi uttered. " What are you yellin' for, Sato?"

I clearly saw what Hijiri was yelling for. One of the chunks of my rock was heading straight towards Tadashi who was standing on the ground completely clueless. I moved before anybody else could use lightning speed. I held out my fingers and used the same move I used on the rock. This time the rock rained in tiny pieces. I landed on the ground. I looked at my hands. The gloves were smoking from the heat of my quirk.

" So, that was why he yelled...I could've destroyed it myself," Tadashi said.

" No, thank you?" I sighed and shook my head.

" Well, the rock would've never tried to kill me if you hadn't been careful when using your quirk on it. But at the same time you saved me. So you attempted murder but failed," Tadashi said.

I couldn't help but laugh at his nonsense.

" Be careful next time, Daiki," Hijiri yelled from above. " Or you'll probably end up killing a hero next!"

" Get back to work you two," Mr. Miyoga told us in a calm voice.

I went back to my space. Next was my stamina move. The one stage that focused most on stamina was Lightning Speed. The thing was I can only use lightning speed at 20% or higher. If I went to 21% or higher I would most likely have seriously broken bones. I couldn't really control 20% so there was a 50/50 chance I might accidentally go higher when using it.

After thirty minutes I had a stamina move down. It was called Rapid speed. When I used it I could create many movements at one time. All of these new moves are minor.

" You all did amazing today," Mr. Miyoga said after our time was over. " You all came up with some great flashy moves. It's understandable that one of us couldn't do that because his quirk only affects living things." He looked at Watanabe.

[Two Hours Later]

"STOP HOGGING ALL OF THE CHIPS, TADASHI," Kenji yelled.

" We CLEARLY agreed that the pizza flavored one are mine and the Calbee's were yours!," Tadashi yelled back. " Now leave me and chips be!"

" Who are you doing the work study with, Daiki?," Akito asked me while Kenji and Tadashi's argument over chips continued.

" I don't know...I was thinking Shoto, Red Riot, or maybe SunEater if my choices are limited," I replied.

" Oh, I'm going with Tsukuyami," Akito told me.

" You two do have a connection," I pointed out. " You both require your quirk to be in light to control your quirk. But your quirk stores light then you let out that energy from the light when you're ready. You can only use a non-affective amount when in darkness." I went on talking about his quirk like a mad man.

" You're rambling, Daiki," Akito told me. " You sure do know alot about everyone's quirk. You would probably win the next sports festival."

[The Next Day]

I felt somebody knock on my room door. I opened it and saw Nori.

" Oh, hey Nori what's u-." Before I could say anything she ran to me and hugged me.

" I-are you ok?," I asked.

" I just wanted to wish you luck on your work study with Shoto," she said quietly. " Please stay safe and don't do anything reckless. If you don't come back the same way-and I'm saying that as a bad thing- I will not be as nice as I am now."

It took me a few seconds to process what she was saying. "I'm not that much of an idiot," I said.
