My Choice

"That fight yesterday was amazing," Riki said. " That punch Deku pulled was the most destructive punch I've seen from him yet. And when he pointed to the screen and stood even though he was beat down was so manly!"

" Didn't seem like he hesitated to pull off his greatest move even though the fight didn't even last forty minutes. So yeah it was pretty crazy," Akio agreed. " But can we talk about Ryu and Mr. Miyoga?"

" Damn, it seems like that guy is everywhere," Hijiri sneered. " He knows everyone, but barely shows his face. Seems like Ryu might've held some grudge against Mr. Miyoga because of something he did in the past. Hey, Daiki, how did you know about what went down yesterday before it even happened?"

" Makato helped me put the pieces together," I replied. " Even though I didn't have to be dramatic about the whole case we did get everything correct."

" So you admit it was all an act!," Tadashi exclaimed. " You didn't have to let me sucker punch you like that."

" Yeah it still hurts," I groaned.

" By the way, where were you yesterday Yuu?," Tadashi questioned.

" I was paying a visit to my family," Yuu replied. " Though I was getting ready to leave my house, I had to stay for a while more because it was dangerous outside while the whole fight went on. Dang, Japan is a whole war zone."

Soon, there was a knock on the door. Akito opened it and revealed a whole bunch of first year students outside our door.

" So this is the famous class 1-D, eh?," a boy with gray hair and black eyes questioned. " Oh I've been wanting to meet you all for the longest!"

" Who are you?," Akito asked.

" My name is Kentaro Tanaka," the boy replied. " OH, I saw you at the sports festival. You're the one who beat Nakamura to hell, am I right? You you would be way better off in my class 1-A."

" Tanaka, there's no reason to go out Insulting other classes!," a girl with blond hair scolded. " If Mr. Aizawa caught us out here we will be sent to our graves early."

" The old man's probably off snoozing somewhere not caring," Tanaka shrugged. " Wait, wasn't that light blue headed kid the winner of the sports festival? Quite a shame that he was represented as the winner. He's making the world think UA is just filled with a bunch of thick skulled freaks."

" WHAT DID YOU FUCKIN' SAY YOU GEASER HEAD?!," Hijiri yelled. " I'LL KILL WHERE YOU STAND."

Hijiri stomped up to the boy so close that they were nose to nose. I started to see Hijiri's hand spark.

" Uhm, Hijiri, you might wanna calm down before you end up hurting someone," I warned.

" DIE, YOU BASTA-*GAG*," Hijiri started choking.

" THAT WAS A BRUTAL ATTACK ,MAN!," Riki exclaimed.

" And just why did you think I would be taking a nap right about now, Tanaka?," a man with a black jumpsuit asked while choking Hijiri with his weirdly strong white scarf.

" S-Sensei?," Tanaka turned around. " You know I...uhm-the one with red and blue eyes started it.

" WHAT?!," I yelled. " I DIDN'T SAY A SINGLE WORD YET!"

" All of you shut up," the man ordered.

It went deadly quiet.

" If you're wondering...Mr. Tanaka, I wasn't in the classroom because 1-A's homeroom teacher is in the hospital and so is Deku. So for a while I'm going to be filling in for Minato. My name is Shota Aizawa," the man informed.

" Hold on your Eraserhead," I said. " You're my second most favorite hero! Your quirk doesn't do much for your physical abilities but even so you're an amazing fighter. I wasn't born during the time but I heard from my older brother a while ago that during the war about twenty two years ago you had lost your right leg. I'm guessing that you had Eri rewind you to the point where you never lost yo-"

" Are you going to be quiet or is rambling on about special quirks and heroes you real quirk," Mr. Aizawa questioned. " If your homeroom teacher doesn't recover soon I'll most likely be your permanent teacher. And one of you will most likely end up dead if you don't make teaching forty kids easy for me. Don't even think this is a chance for you to make new friends. With me training will be harder than ever." He released his scarf from Hijiri's neck.

" Wh-YOU NEARLY KILLED ME YOU DRY EYED SHIT-HEAD!," Hijiri bellowed.

" Sato, calm down!," Sachi yelled. " He'll probably kill you next if you keep it up!"

" Maybe I will, now go put your suits on," Aizawa ordered. " It's gonna be a long day since there's forty of you."

After we put our suits on we headed to Ground Beta. I looked at Tanaka.

" Your suit is pretty tacky," I laughed. " What's your quirk?"

" Why do you want to know?," Tanaki asked.

" Well...I see that you have a top hat and a cane," I noticed. " Is your quirk kind of like Death Card's?"

" It's exactly like that," he replied. " Death Card was my uncle. Unlike you I'm not ashamed of being related to a villain. But don't underestimate me. I'm a much stronger version of him. MUCH stronger."

" What about that girl who tried to knock some sense into you?," I questioned.

" Her name is Meiko Togata," he answered. " Strongest girl in this class. The only one who can keep it in line by force."

" Oh..."

" Alright pay attention," Mr. Aizawa said. "I'm pretty sure all of you have already experienced Hero vs Villain training. You will be doing that today but different team set ups."

We were listening to the teams until I heard mine.

" Daiki Nakamura and...Hisoka Aizawa vs Meiko Togata and Hijiri Sato," Aizawa announced. " Being that this will be a rather interesting fight, if you run out of twenty minutes you will get an extra five minutes. I prefer you push to finish before that twenty minutes is over. Nakamura and Hisoka will be the villain team, Togata and Tanaka will be the hero team. Go ahead, villain team go to your hideout."

As we were walking I could feel eyes looking at me. I turned to Hisoka.

" What?," I questioned.

" It's just...I've been admiring you ever since the sports festival!," Hisoka exclaimed. " I have an obsession with people's quirks. I guess it's because I can erase them."

" Wait, you can erase people's quirks, like for good?!," I questioned.

" Oh, no no no, as long as I'm looking at my opponent they are unable to use their powers," Hisoka informed.

" Oh...you, I fought Hijiri during the first Heroes vs Villains training," I said. " I knew he would end up looking for me but he was waiting for me instead. He's quite eager and hot-headed but it's been a long year so I don't know how much he's changed. Therefore I don't have a plan. By the way, my hero name is Phoenix X. What's yours?"

" Twenty," Hisoka told me. " I chose that because my limit to holding my eyes open is ten minutes. After that my eyes will start to water and irritate like crazy but if I concentrate I can hold it for twenty minutes until I close my eyes. I'm currently aiming to go even higher than twenty."

" pow...WEEEERRRRRRRR!," Meiko came flying through a wall so fast I barely had time to cover the weapon with my air wall!"

*THIRD PERSON*

" TWENTY!," Daiki called.

" On it!" Hisoka looked straight at Meiko making her quirk deactivate.

" Awww, come on now that's no fun is it?," Meiko complained.

Daiki looked around but saw Hijiri nowhere in sight. He backed up against the weapon making sure his wall was secure.

" You won't be getting past me so easily," he smirked. " I'm not so good at this role but it's just to make sure the heroes don't ruin your plans, right?"

" Oh, I know you!," Meiko gleamed. " I'm looking forward to a good fight with you!"

Without hesitation Meiko charged at Daiki.

" Hey, Carver, you got me covered right?!," she questioned.

" DIEEEEE!Hijiri jumped out of nowhere and kicked Hisoka in the face, making his face turn back from Meiko.

With such fast speed, before Meiko could activate her permeation he gripped his capturing weapon and used it to secure Meiko and send her back away from Daiki and the villain weapon. In the process he still got flown back by the impact of Hijiri's kick. Hijiri turned to Daiki. He activated his claws and slashed at Daiki. Daiki powered up to ten percent and dodged the attack while quickly going back to protect the weapon.

" You have gotten stronger," Hijiri laughed. " I'm looking forward to this fight...but if you don't mind why don't you show me that new quirk of yours, eh?!"

Hijiri's claws began to deform but then soon his fist began to form into iron. He punched Daiki in the face with full form trying to make him move.

" H-D-Did his quirk develop into some of it's full potential?!," Daiki thought.

Daiki stepped back and charged up to 20% and both him and Hijiri charged at each other.

" GLAD WE CAN HAVE THIS REMATCH!," Hijiri shouted."

[Two Hours later]

" Hey, guys," Yuu said as we were all sitting in the common room. " I know this is so random but I-I just wanted to say thanks for being my friends. With my family and all I could never make friends in junior high. So yeah, thanks."

" No need to say thanks," Tadashi grinned. " Friends are free."

" Ye-," I was interrupted by the vibration of my phone.

I took it out of my pocket and saw that it was Deku.

" I have to take this real quick," I got up and walked outside.

" Hey, Deku," I greeted when I answered the phone. " What's the problem?"

" Hi...there's no problem," he assured. " Not really. You remember when I said that soon the world will have to know? Well, you have until tomorrow morning to make a choice. I know you'll make the right one. It's just with One For All and Shigaraki wanting it. It's just not worth keeping a secret anymore. But I understand if you would feel that way. By the way your brother has been showing some signs of waking up. And Mr. Miyoga he uhm...he lost his right arm in the fight with Ryu. Don't worry it's going to get a metal arm for a replacement. He should be out by maybe the end of october. How's Asahi doing?"

" Asahi's fine," I replied. " More perked up than usual. He really likes living in the dorms with everyone. He's especially attached to Hijiri."

" That's good to hear," Deku sighed. " Anyways, I have to go. Talk to you later. Remember It's completely your choice, Nakamura, not mine." He hung up the phone.

[ One Hour Later]

I stayed up in my room. I had already made my choice. I was going to tell the truth. First I would be telling my classmates. Deku suggested I write them each a letter and even if I was going to do that I didn't know how. I started off with Hijiri first. As soon as I finished with his I heard a knock on my door.

" Come in," I said.

Nori opened the door and hugged me from behind while peering over my shoulder.

" Why're you writing letters?," she questioned.

" Deku suggested this but uhm, I'm going to all of japan-maybe even the world-about One For All," I answered. " I'm starting off with this class but Hijiri first since I've known him for the longest."

" If you have such a special relationship with him hy don't you just tell him in person?," Nori suggested.

" I don't want to see his reaction," I admitted. " I don't want to see how anyone reacts. I was told that tomorrow I would be interviewed alone and it would be broadcasted everywhere. So I would let the truth out there. Hopefully everyone will get their letters by then."

" Are you really this confident? You know if you say it you won't be able to take it back, right?"

" I know, but I'm sure about this."
