The First Showdown! 1-D vs 1-A (Part one) Hijiri Sato's Jealousy

Wait, wasn't Cora in New York?

The first match up was Daichi Sakento, Ren Takami, Hayami Shinso, and Carter Yagami vs Hijiri, Yuki, Haru, and Kiyoe.

"That's a pretty bad match up for Sato," Akito said. " He doesn't listen to anyone but that Sachi and sometimes you."

I nodded my head. " That's how it's been for a long time, but I can tell he's changed a lot. He's learned how to control his temper and he starts to think before he does things. But I'm kind of worried for him."

" I think he'll be fine!" Akito said. " He's strong and cool."

" I guess... by the way, Akito, love the cape!"

Akito smiled at me and put his thumb up.

I looked at Akito for a long time. He reminded me of myself when I was a lot younger.

" Listen up," Mr. Aizawa said. " Each team will treat the other as a villain. You must capture each of the Four students from the other team and put them in the Irredeemable Jail."

I saw Cora walk up to Hijiri. She must've said something to tick him off because he started yelling so loud that I couldn't even hear what he was saying.

A few minutes later Hijiri and his team went out along with the 1-A team.

" I feel like we're gonna lose this," Tadashi said. " In the Hero department, we're ranked last which means we're the least powerful."

"That's not what it means," Nori said. " The Principal mixed it up. Class 1-D is for the kids who got the second best amount of points on the entrance exam. Class 1-A is first, 1-B third, and 1-C last."

Tadashi put his fingers on his chin, " Isn't Principal Iida like a total smart ass? He likes everything in order and that is not in order. It's like a riddle." It's not that complicated," Nori mumbled.

I pointed my finger up, " Or maybe we're the best class. They're so many great quirks here. For example mines and Kenji's could have gotten to the top."

Nori shook her head and lifted my forearm. " You didn't have any of these fancy gadgets when you took the entrance exam. You also didn't know you had a quirk. You wouldn't have gotten into UA if you weren't 'Daiki'."

" Oh, right, I forgot about that!" I laughed.

Nori kissed me on the cheek." You are getting way too comfortable with those two powers of yours."

" No fair," Tadashi complained. " I deserve a kiss too."

I looked up at the screen showing the current fight. Everything looked calm for now. I knew half of the kid's quirks in class 1-A. I knew all of the ones in Hijiri's match. Daichi Sakento can make any part of his body into any shape he wanted. Ren Takami can manipulate anything he touched into any shape she wanted. Hayami Shinso had her father's quirk. Then, there's Carter Yagami. He can breathe fire. I knew all of Hijiri's strengths and weaknesses so this would be trouble for him.

*THIRD PERSON*

" Sato, it might be best to come up with a sneak attack," Yuki said. " Our quirks are too similar to theirs. It's like we're up against copies of ourselves. The only difference is Shinso!"

" Yuki's right," Akio agreed. " Attacking head-on will be too risky."

" Our quirks being similar is the exact reason we should go head-on," Sato said. " Trust me."

Haru and the others tried not to argue with this. Sato noticed that it was quiet and decided to explain himself.

" Their moves will most likely be similar to ours," he explained. " I'm referring to the Tamaki and Sakento. Sakento can easily mimic me and Tamaki can follow your moves, Yuki. If we let them show us their moves first we'll surpass them and win. Follow me."

Hijiri began moving towards class 1-A's base at a calm pace.

[At class 1-A's base]

"He's going to move first," Yagami said. " You sure we should just stand here on defense, Shinso?"

Shinso gripped her capturing weapon. " Yes."

In the distance aggressive yelling could be heard. Suddenly, A figure came down from the sky with large tape attached to his torso. It was Sato and he was heading straight for Yagami.

" TAMAKI!," Yagami yelled.

" Got you covered!" Tamaki put her hand on the ground making a giant wall appear in between Yagami and Sato. Sato's claws reflected off the guard.

" SERO!," Sato shouted.

Haru used his tape to grab Tamaki and lift her off of the ground. The wall disappeared. Haru proceeded to get away with Tamaki bound. While Hijiri headed towards him Yagami took a deep breath and let as much fire out as he could before Hijiri could get to him. Hijiri made a metal shield.

At the moment this was happening, Haru was taking Tamaki to the prison.

" Is that the best your class can do?" Tamaki's voice questioned. " This shouldn't hard for your leader! He is the strongest isn't he?"

" It's an equal match," Haru replied.

All of a sudden Haru's mind went blank and he landed on a pipe not moving any other parts of his body. Shinso then came out of hiding and freed Tamaki from Haru's tape.

" Go help Sakento and Yagami," Shinso ordered. " I'll be there."

Tamaki nodded and headed back while Shinso took Haru to the jail.

After the fire cleared Sato removed his shield. As soon as he did that Sakento came run towards him.

" HRAAAAAAAAAAAAH," he yelled as he sent a huge solid fist to his stomach making Sato fly backward. " HOW'D THAT TASTE, HERO!?

Sato crashed to the ground but when he tried to get up Tamaki impacted him with a wall that sent him flying up and then crashing back to the ground. Sato struggled to get back up.

"HE'S DOWN!," Kiyoe shouted to Yuki. " We gotta get in there."

Yuki nodded to him. As soon as she did Kiyoe jumped down from the hiding spot using a portion of her quirk's speed and zoomed towards Tamaki.

" FEEL THE WRATH OF MY BOLTS!," she yelled as he touched Tamaki chest.

" ARGHHHH," Tamaki shouted in pain as her body was electrocuted.

" I d-didn't tell you to move, i-idiot!" Sato scolded.

Yuki slid down using her ice and grabbed Sato before Shinso's scarf could reach him.

" LET GO OF ME!," Sato pushed Yuki off of him.

" You should learn how to be more active with your teammates, SATO!," Sakento sent an uppercut to his jaw making him lose his balance and fall back to the ground.

" It shouldn't this hard...," Shinso said under her breath as she sent her scarf to Yuki while she was off guard.

Hijiri immediately shot up and jumped in front of Yuki, which left Shinso capturing him. He used his claws to rip free of the scarf. Which gave Yuki free range of using her ice against Shinso.

*DAIKI POV*

I watched in shock as I couldn't believe what Hijiri was doing.

" He's using himself as a human shield!," I said. " What in the world did you tell him, Cora?"

" I told him that you said he hasn't changed much and he would end up blowing it for the entire team he continued to be a selfish jerk," she told me.

" HE'S GONNA KILL ME NOW BECAUSE YOU SAID THAT!," I shouted.

" But you do think it's true right?" she questioned.

I looked back at the screen at this rate he'll end up with serious injuries. I did think what Cora told him was true. If he does quit that then he'll unlock his full potential. Hijiri has always been this way when we were little.

*THIRD PERSON*

[ Hijiri's Flashback (Six Years Ago)]

" We're friends, right, Sora?," Daiki questioned.

" I don't need to be friends with weaklings like you," Sora said.

" Wh-What about you?" he turned to Sato.

Sato stayed silent with his head down.

[ A Few Minutes Later]

Sato stayed on his knees. When Daiki ran away he tried running after him but tripped.

" Why were you being so mean to him?" Sato asked. " What did he do to you!?"

" He's powerless," Sora said. " The powerful don't need to interfere with the weak."

Sora held his hand out to Sato, " Though, you and I are allowed to be friends."

Sato looked up at Sero and reached for his hand.

[Present Day]

*THIRD PERSON*

" I've always looked up to you, Sora," Hijiri thought. " BUT NOW I'LL BE LOOKING DOWN UPON YOU!"

" HIJIRI!," Akio called.

A huge grin spread across Hijiri's face. He ran towards Kiyoe his hand surrounded by medal out. As soon as he touched Kiyoe he felt the electricity surge through him. Hijiri thought of the time He was asked his name.

"So, what's your name, Hijiri?," Sora once questioned.

" I don't know," Hijiri had responded. " How about you pick since you're so curious."

Hijiri yelled out before shocking Sakento and Yagami, " MY NAME IS CARVER!"

The shocks sent through their bodies left the three of them paralyzed along with Tamaki. Yuki had trapped Shinso with her ice. The four of the Class 1-A students were taken to the irredeemable prison.

" You three are idiots," Shinso mumbled.

" Class 1-D wins this round," Mr. Aizawa said on the speaker.

" I told you, Shota," Mr. Miyoga snickered.

"Shut up."

[A few minutes]

"You all know what you need to improve on, correct?," Mr. Aizawa questioned his four students.

" I need to work on giving more clearer directions when leading," Shinso told him.

" I need to be more effective to the team whenever something goes wrong and not just stand there so everyone else can do the work," Yagami said quietly.

" I have to be more aware of my surroundings," Tamaki mumbled.

" I DID AN AMAZING JOB!," Sakento shouted.

" Sakento, you need to think before you act," Aizawa told him. " Make sure you all work on these every single day, understood?"

" Yes, sir," the four said in unison.

" You all did well today," Mr. Miyoga told his students. " Haru, you fell for a simple trick. Mr. Aizawa has done a Heroes versus villains training with you while I was gone so you should have known the Shinso's quirk. Yuki, Kiyoe, you two did well. Hijiri, today you focused on your teammates rather than the victory. I'm proud of your development."

" TCH," Hijiri turned his head to the side. " I only did it to ensure the victory!"

Hijiri walked over to Daiki and Cora

" You're wrong about me, Nakamura!," he planted his finger on my chest. " I have...changed! And I've grown stronger than you. Both Mentally and physically. I don't remember the last time we've had a one on one but next time I will beat you! Got that?"

He stormed off. To Daiki, it was an invitation to fight. But Hijiri was showing his true feeling towards him. The feelings he's always had.

" Giving me the old silent treatment, Hijiri?" Cora said. " Didn't you have feelings for me in middle school or something?"

Hijiri ran back over his face red, " WHO TOLD YOU THAT? AND SINCE WHEN DO YOU CALL ME 'HIJIRI'."

" He's not swearing at you, Cora," Daiki gave Cora a sheepish grin.

" Awwww," Cora teased. "He's grown soft on me. You're like a small angry puppy." She patted his head.

The Trio was finally back which left Hijiri trembling in anger and embarrassment.

Next chapter you will see Class 1-A's Tanaka, Aizawa, Asuka Tetsutetsu, Togata, and Class 1-D's Daiki, Akiri, Tadashi, and Cora Allaband. Face off in an incredible match.
