Longing

A trickling sound emerges as Nathan pours red wine into the glass. He smiles, taking the glass, along with his, to her. His smile turns into a blush as he sees the sight in front of him. She is stood on a balcony, overlooking the gorgeous skyscrapers that unfold before her eyes. There she is. His fiancé. Cathy. The slight breeze blows through her brunette hair as she has her attention fixated on one particular building in the distance. He walks towards her, approaching her from behind. He gets to her and sets his glass on the balcony, snaking his arm around her lower waist. 

"Like what you see?" He asks as he plants a kiss on her temple. She turns to face him, meeting his tender brown eyes, "Yeah, I do," she replies with a softness in her voice and sincerity in her eyes, "I love it. But Nayth, how am I going to face my family again after being in rehab? After what I did.. How am I going to face them again? I feel so ashamed. I'm an embrassm...."
