Revelations

It's all but four words. It's all, but four words that form goosebumps on her scalp as she feels it shrinking. The four words give her the sensation of the bones in her limbs melding together.

She stays frozen in her stance. Frozen, with her mouth ajar. She feels her pounding heart leap out from her mouth. Her face loses its pigmentation. 

She frantically rakes her fingers through her hair, tilting her head up and down as she clutches onto her hair, "No. No. It can't be. I saw it happen. You're a liar, get out!"

"Catherine," Davide edges closer to her, a concerned look on his face.

"I saw my husband getting electrocuted, and you're not going to convince me that what I saw did not happen." Her voice deepens.

Davide lowers his voice, "It happened, but what you didn't see was what happened after Luigi slammed his laptop shut.
