Conditions

Puffs of smoke emit through Cathy's nostrils as sleep proves too hard to come. The earlier emitting of the night-time gas proved ineffective.

Her body craves for sleep, her mind is full to the brim with horrid memories, her heart burdened as her conscious keep gnawing at her.

It's the memories of yesterday that remind her of the decisions she made. Decisions that prove to have ramifications. The decision to spill the blood of a friend.

Normally, murder is borne of hate, but for Cathy Miller, love was her reason, and even so, her subconscious won't stop gnawing at her.

Tragic moments from yesterday play in her mind and the tape keeps winding, as if on repeat.

The scream from Selena as the bullet pierced into her stomach. remembering it is like hearing it for the first time. It's like it's ringing into her ears, invading and assaulting her auditory nerves.
