Focus Locus

That night, Mira sat in the living room with Zander and continued her knitting. 

This method seemed to be harvesting at almost twice the speed and volume as the other methods she had tried previously.

Zander seemed to be happy enough.  He had two books by his side and were carefully studying them both. 

There was the Tesseract Demon book, and there was the book that she had used to learn how to harvest energy.  It seemed as if this enforced quiet time was turning Zander into something of an expert in necromancy. 

Of course, it was all mostly academic since she had not seen him do any spell casting that had anything to do with demons but that didn't mean he could not do it.

His energy level, though nowhere near what it was before his abduction, was still high enough to do mid-level commands. 

Even at his severely weakened state, there was no doubt that Zander was still a very formidable wizard.
