The Big Day

"Today is the day, finally I will be able to become an adventurer" With a ticket in hand, Derick, a young boy muttered, as he waited his turn in a long line. On the ticket was written the number 100.

Derick is only 16 years old and since he was a child, he had a dream, which was to explore the world. But there was one small problem with this dream, with the "great calamity" the population was drastically reduced and with this every lost life was a problem for the city, because it would have one less worker.

As a measure to try to decrease the number of deaths, the king has decreed that in order to be able to leave the city you have to have a special authorization, and there are two ways to get this authorization:

° Enlist in the army, this is free, however you will not leave immediately and can only leave on reconnaissance missions, or on an excursion;

° Joining the Adventurers' guild, you have to pay a fee to enter, it costs 1 gold coin. A bit expensive, since the average person spends that much per year. But this price has a purpose, which is to discourage people from leaving the city.

"50, 51 and 52" A man called out. He was the government official responsible for organizing the line. Behind the man was a big cylinder-shaped stone.

""It looks like it will take time to be my turn" Derick muttered "Well, I hope this is worth it"

Since he had nothing to do, Derick remembered the story of that "Big Stone".

With the creation of this artifact, it was possible to do things more efficiently, such as training a person who has an "A" potential.

Unfortunately, this great sage was born 500 years after the " The Great Calamity". If he had been born a little sooner, perhaps humanity would have a different destiny."

Finally, after a long time of waiting it was Derick's turn.

"Please be a good class" Derick put his hand on the "Strone of Wisdom" and it shone.
