Alexis

1:24 am

CB falls limply into the door. His body is pulled into it. I see the black woman taking him. My hands are trembling the guns so heavy in them. Yes I shot CB. His brains are splattered on the wall. On the wall and on Sanniya. I didn't feel real pulling the trigger. Too easy I didn't really do anything and bang he's gone. Just like she said it would be. The black lady was right. It was easy.

She's been talking to me as we walk. Her, Jennifer, Brittany, and Kristen. Promising to let us go if I stopped him from getting Xavier.

"Why" Sanniya screams

Im shaking my head "she told me to kill him"

"Who"

"The black woman"

Sanniya shoves me hard and I hit the wall. The ice hurts and I drop the gun. Before I can get my composure she kicks the door open. Snow and Ice burst out pushed by a powerful wind. It's so cold that my skin feels like it's cut. I see the black woman standing in the room. The storm is coming off of her body. And there standing behind her is the beast. No, not a beast, it's Xavier.

12 feet (3.66 m) tall the chimera, wolf, bear, and crow. Snarling and howling like a demon. Its bright ice blue eyes staring at me, through me. The wind reverses and my feet are sliding. Sanniya is pulled in first. With nothing to hold I follow next.

A second later I'm laying on my face in inches of snow. I push up on my knees. Sanniya is doing the same to my left. It doesn't look like we're in the room anymore. In every direction there is only whit. Not snow, just an endless nothing. Nothing except the black woman, the beast and now Xavier. His body floating a few feet off the ground. From where I am it looks like he is asleep.

"What do you want," the black woman asks? Her voice has a heavy accent. One I've never heard. "Ro'uke stand"

Sanniya stands up and sprints for Xavier "Xavier wake up!" she yells repeatedly

The black woman waves her hand. The beast swings, hitting Sanniya back to the ground. She is screaming sliding back next to me. I stand up and help her up.

"Ro'uke why do you want to stop me"

"You shouldn't be alive it's not possible" Sanniya yells ignoring her question

"All is possible. So why do you deny what you felt in your soul since entering the building." she smirks "it's the same as your people. I came to them telling of the Europeans' evil ways. The apocalypse they would bring. But it wasn't until so many died did they turn to me"

"And look what it brought, what you gave us" Sanniya say pointing at the beast it howls "a curse, a demon"

I drop to my knees covering my ears. The woman reaches back, calming the beast.

"A curse" she's shaking her head " know I gave your people a blessing. A way to be strong. How can you judge what you cannot understand. Fear is why you judge the unknown and condemn it because you lack the ability to engross yourself in it. Understand and wield it."

I have an idea, but we're going to need time. I realize this woman is crazy. We aren't going to survive. Not if this doesn't work.

"So who are you" I ask

The woman smiles " I am the shunned, a cast out, damned, a blessed, A queen. My name is Jezal"
