Nick’s POV

When I woke up from darkness, I saw white walls surrounding me form where I am. On the left side of my bed, it felt someone was lying their head on it. When I looked down it was my boss, Jay, that was lying his head on it, sleeping.

I suddenly felt thirsty so i had to wake up Jay from his sleep.

“Jay,” I shook his shoulder lightly, “Jay. Wake up.” Finally Jay woke up.

“You’re awake. How are you? What do you need? Are you thirsty?” Jay asked him continuously asked him. He didn’t expect him to see this side worried about me.

“I just woke up and I’m fine. Can you get me a water? I’ve been thirsty all the time.” I said.

Jay quickly put a water on a cup and before he let me drink he helped me sit. He first held my head and also supported my back with his hand before giving my water.

While drinking, I saw him on my peripheral vision yawning. I suddenly felt that he was the one who’s taking care of me while I was unconscious. I really didn’t expect to see this side of him because all this time he was playing along with girls. Bringing different girls every week and never officially dated any girl for the past year that I’ve been serving to him. Though there were numerous rumors about Jay about being good in bed. Well he doesn’t need that information abut his boss unless Jay confirmed it.

After drinking, Jay took away the glass cup where I’ve drink and using the back of his hand, he damped my forehead and the side of my neck to check if I have fever.

“Are you sure you’re alright? You still look pale.” Jay asked me with worry obvious on his tone.

“I’m fine as I said to you. I can even walk now.” I said.

“No. you’re not walking unless you’re completely healed.” Jay said to me in a commanding voice.

I just laughed to him and when I was done laughing to him, I heard my stomach growl telling us that I’m hungry.

“See? You’re gong to walk with an empty stomach? Tsk, tsk.” Jay shook his head leaving me smiling to him.

After we shard the food he bought for the two of us, a doctor came to my room to check up on me.

“You can now be discharged Mr. Jang. Your vital says that you are now fine. I’ll give you prescriptions for you take when you’re at home and you need to rest for 2 days and no stress first so you can have your energy back.” The doctor smiled to him and then to Jay whose brows are deeply furrowed.

“Thank you, doc.” I said.

After the doctor left his room, he wondered why Jay was like mad to the doctor where in fact the doctor only checked up on him.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” I asked because I am tired of thinking possibilities why is his furrowed like he is ma on someone.

“Nothing.” Jay answered coldly.

“But you’re face says something is wrong. Tell me what’s bothering you.”

“I don’t like the way the doctor looked at you. He’s like flirting at you.” Jay said strongly.

I grabbed his hand and massaged it gently. “That’s the way he looked at me because he needs to be nice to me as a patient. So stop your childish act because you’re just overthinking.” I grabbed his head and massaged his furrowed brows. He closed his eyes while I’m massaging his temple.

After massaging his temple, we stared into each others eyes feeling the silence occurring upon between the two of us.

He neared his face to mine not breaking the eye contact. I put my hands on his shoulders stopping the growing intimacy between us but he seems very strong for my weak body to stop him.

I suddenly had the urge to close my eyes when his face was an inch close to mine. Feeling his minty breath enter my nostrils sent me chills.

He held my other hand and put it beside my head and brushed his lips to mine. And just like that he stole my first and my first kiss was to a man.

“I don’t like other man seeing you that way unless they’re me. I don’t like sharing this beautiful site to others. And I don’t like other men nearing you because they make my blood boil. And lastly, when I claim what’s mine I don’t let them go.” Jay whispered to my ears.

Hearing his deep voice to my ears makes the butterflies in my stomach fly. He’s like claiming something. He’s claiming me.

My heart pounded hard when he pressed his lips to mine. The feeling of his soft lips pressing unto my plump lips was like they were meant to stick together.

He moved his lips unto mine forcing my lips to open and successfully entered. When I opened my mouth his tongue memorized every part of my mouth and was like searching for something that is in my mouth.

He is very aggressive and not letting me go until we were out of breath. He finally let go of my lips but he did not break the eye contact we shared. We were gasping for air when he jumped to my bed on top of me.

“Don’t resign. It’s not going to be the same again without you in my office. You’re the one I’m running to when everything is so messed up to me. My world is not colored without you in it. I want to have a reason why I want to see Stephen. I want to wake up hearing your voice. I want to drive for you.” Jay said in his very sincere way. It was like he was confessing his feelings.

I chuckled at his sincerity and pinched his cheek lightly. For me, it was his cutest moment in 7 years that I’ve been with him.

“Why are you laughing?” he asked.

“Nothing. You just looked cute.” I said to him smiling.

For the second time, he kissed me again but this time I moved my mouth with his and let him take control over me.

It was fine until we heard someone knocking on the door. My eyes widened at the sound and suddenly I pushed him off the bed and pulled my blanket to hide.
