Introduction

This novel is set during the current time of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Natalie has just completed medical school and has started her internship at a hospital in NYC. After finding out that her best friend Zayn ( her first love) was dating someone else, she lost all sense of self control. She spontaneously decides to go against professional and ethical conduct when she sleeps with a cheeky, devilishly handsome patient that she had just met. After discovering who he is, she tried her best not to fall for his charming know-it-all attitude but failed miserably. Their relationship meant nothing more then physical pleasure and sex.

5 years later during the pandemic, he confesses his love for. After rejection, he becomes arrogant, rude, jealous, possessive and somewhat violent towards her.

Experience the emotionally traumatic past of Dr Steward through her dreadful flashbacks and nightmares along the way.

Will she ever get over her first love ? Why was she so attached and unable to emotionally connect or trust anyone else?

Will James win over her trust with his acts of violence or only cause her to be afraid of him ? Will his violence trigger her past and drown her mind with her horrifying flashbacks and nightmares again?
