CHAPTER LVIII: Show Start

At exactly seven in the evening, the party began to feel more alive.

Although we were earlier than usual, the guests were coming through the door at an excited pace.

The main guest was yet to be seen.

She was most likely taking the time of her life.

Haru, on the other hand, said he was going to be late because he would be arriving with his family.

Ah, Iku and Phillian, how I miss them.

Seeing them again definitely brings back so many memories from Japan.

Plus, I'm also excited to see Haru all dressed up.

That's why I've been eagerly waiting in my seat as I watch when Haru and his family will pass through that gigantic entrance.

The man beside me, however, was just leisurely laying on the elegant sofa beside me with his back totally rested on the back of the said seat while holding a glass of champagne on his left hand.

His other arm was casually gliding up and down on my waist like it has a mind of its own.
