Easy said than done.
It did not take too long before Ryan appeared in front of her, blocking her route of escape. Of course that little blow from her was not enough to take him down. He sent another blast of dark magic her way, which she tried to deflect using her shield but it hit a side of the disc sending her flying to a side. The deflected darkness hit the shelves on the opposite side and instantly set the books on black fire.
Sarah tried to raise herself slowly with much struggle from underneath the pile of books that toppled off the shelf she had hit, but fell back down. She had seen people being thrown at walls in movies, but she had never imagined she would have to feel the pain of that for real. The impact was beyond her body's current condition to absorb, so she ended up coughing up a bit of blood. Ryan walked up to her clicking his tongue.
