Awkward Then Forgotten

"Umm.....hyungs……."

It was none other than Jihun, who had once again fallen victim to witnessing another sense of his hyungs private moments, thus Jihun had his head down staring at the ground with a bright red blush on his cheeks.

Young and Ten separated immediately and looked away anywhere but Jihun and each other, also blushing feeling embarrassed to be caught by their beloved maknae while they scratched the back of their necks laughing awkwardly then stopped upon seeing Jihun not laughing with them. The kid just had bad luck in such matters.

But this being the first time he had ever caught a couple outside of NEO FREE so he himself was quite embarrassed and awkward on what was to be done next because if it was any of the Freelies he would have roasted or teased them to get rid of the awkward atmosphere but here we are talking about his favorite Young-ie hyung and his boyfriend Ten, who had been dating for quite sometime and just didn't have a lot of PDA in front of the group.

After a moment of utter silence and no one speaking a word. Young cleared his throat, determined to close the matter once and for all, looked up to where the maknae, Jihun, stood still with his head low as if he was caught stealing food late at night and was now gonna get lectured for it but Young just sighed, gathering his courage to speak first in this awkward situation.

"Um....Jihun-ah.......um....I honestly have nothing to explain although I don't know why do I even need to explain this to you because even I saw you kiss Chen yesterday but....um…I think as your hyungs it's our fault to ever let you see this so lets all forget about it and pretend it never happened, OK?!!"

Young finished off with his explanation giving an awkward laugh at the end because none of the other two were answering his rambling which made him think as if he had said something wrong.

"Hyungs....Don't worry! I won't tell anyone. Anyways it's normal between couples, right?! So I hope that one day even Chen and I have this sweet and loving relationship like yours. So don't worry hyungs, I even kept Jino and Ren hyungs dating secret from everyone for so long--Oh shit! I was not supposed to say that to anyone, not even Chen! Forget about it completely Young-ie hyung and please don't bail me out on them, Jino hyung will literally kill me...Ok hyungs, please?!"

Jihun rambled on sensing danger but still reassured the older two with a sweet smile displayed on his face as he truly meant it when he said that he won't tell a soul about it but ended up creating a problem for himself.

Ten who was just hearing all of the conversation going on finally sighed which caused the other two to look at him "Guys let’s just enjoy this moment and not just waste it by causing such awkward conversations, so we should get going as the others will be waiting for us."

"Ani! Wait up! What's with you knowing about Jino and Ren dating for a long time, Jihun-nie?! I thought they just liked each other so they decided to finally date but what's this I'm hearing?!" Young interrupted

"Hyung you have to promise me you won't tell a soul about it! So actually I also happened to have caught them in the same situation as this just that it was in our room at our past dorm. But hyung you have promised! Not a soul." Jihun explained

"You kids have grown so much that you are keeping secrets from me too now, huh?! But rest assured Jihun-ah, I'll not bail you out." Young promised

"Anyways Jihun-ah, why are you still here, weren't we all called by Young-ie hyung to the NEO 35's dorm?" Ten asked looking at the panel which displayed the floor, that question by Ten also made Young to have a look, upon seeing that they were actually not on their floor but on the Freelies dorm floor sharing the same building.

This caused Jihun to be confused as he didn't know about the news of Young calling them but just went along with it as he wanted to run away from that situation as soon as possible.

"Um..Jihun-ah why are you still here shouldn't you be in our dorm." Said Young tilting his head to a side to show his confused state.

Whereas Jihun just slightly giggled finding Young cute, he explained "Hyung I was headed up but Chen called me to also bring his phone which he forgot back at the dorm as Hajoon hyung was sooo excited for god knows what and ended up dragging them with him."

"Oh ok then let's go" Ten understood instantly as he knew Hajoon could be unreasonable sometimes, as he shifted a bit away from Young to make some space for the maknae to enter the lift. It was awfully silent till the elevator bell rang again to show that they had finally reached their desired floor. They entered the dorm to be welcomed with all the members chatting and eating but still some were missing.

"Oh Jihun-ah! Did you bring my phone?! Wow thanks a lot. I'll make sure to kill Hajoon hyung when we get back, he made me forget my phone and you my poor baby had to go all the way back to bring it for me. Thanks!!"

Chen cooed as he saw his boyfriend enter the dorm with the other two whom they had been waiting for a long time. In the process also made sure to give a death glare to Hajoon who was the cause of all this but was now hiding behind Mark.

"Where are the others?!" Young asked as he entered the dorm with his fingers intertwined with Ten's.

"Oh there you are finally, we were waiting for you and don't worry they'll come soon just gone to get some more take outs with manager hyung." Informed Tae as he looked up to see Young and Ten.

"Ohi~ What's all this food for? Are we having a party?!" Asked our curious baby Jihun, excitedly on hearing the mention of food, after handing Chen his phone.

"Yeah! We are celebrating Lucas hyung, Jungwon hyung and Kim hyung's debut through this upcoming album of ours."

Jino explained as he fed Ren a piece of fried chicken, having a lovely time while looking back at Jihun and giving him his eye smiles. Jihun just nodded in understanding whereas Young spoke up again "Who told y'all?!?! I was supposed to be the one to break the news!!" Young ended it pouting cutely.

"Manager hyung told us." Replied Hajoon without even looking up to face Young and continued to focus on eating or to say stealing food from Mark's plate from behind him, trying his best to not make eye contact with Chen.

Whereas for the ChenJi couple~~~

"Chen-ah.....um…I wanna talk to you."

Said Jihun as he grabbed Chen's wrist and made him stop on his way back to his seat. Chen tilted his head in confusion and asked Jihun, what was the matter?! As he turned back to his original position of facing the maknae.

'Cute' Was what came to Jihun's mind first as he saw the elder standing in front of him looking all ways of confusion. Which made the maknae think of him as a cute ball of fur whom he would never get rid of in his life.

"Um...Chen-ah, is it ok if I ask you out for a date tomorrow?!" Politely asked Jihun looking down at their hands where he was connected with the elder.

That is where he had held Chen's wrist to stop him and his other hand scratching the back of his neck as he was nervous knowing it was too sudden. But Chen just replied with a small and sweet "Yup" not thinking much of it which made Jihun's head shoot up immediately to face the elder standing in front of him. Slowly a smile spread across Jihun's face, he instantly hugged Chen forgetting about his other hyungs also being in the same room.
