Chapter 38

“Who?” questioned Hope.

“She said Price,” V replied to her.

“That can’t be.” she protested.

“Why?” questioned Nao.

“He is a normal human being.” Hope explained.

“Yeah Right. We knew something was weird about him. Didn’t we Nao?” V asked.

“Yes. We did.” Nao said.

“It can’t be,” Hope said looking down at the floor. It was more to herself than to us.

“Why are you being so defensive about him,” questioned Balfer. Hope ignored that question and was just mumbling something to herself. We were unable to comprehend what she was babbling.

“Hope what are you saying?” Nao asked. Zenith who was standing next to Hope grasped her shoulders and shook her a bit and questioned: “Are you alright Hope?” As if something snapped inside of her, Hope looked up at Zenith with startled eyes, and then she saw me square in my eyes for few seconds and then dashed out the room.

“What is wrong with her?” V said.

“I will check on her,” Zenith replied and ran out in search of Hope.
